Muto made her idol debut in 2011 as a 12th term student of AKB48 and was a popular member of the group; in 2019, she passed the weather forecaster certification, which took her five years to finally obtain, and was active in a wide range of other activities besides idol work, including weathercaster, movies, drama, and stage. With her graduation performance at the theater in March of this year, she graduated from AKB48, where she had been a member for about 12 years. She is now active in a wide range of fields, including actress, TV personality, and commentator.
