“Burn the House Down” is a tale of a 13-year-long revenge centered around the protagonist, Anzu.
Thirteen years ago…
Anzu Mitarai, who was living a happy life with her family, saw her life crumble in an instant.
Their grand and immense house was suddenly engulfed in a massive fire, and reduced to ashes.
Makiko Mitarai makes her way into the Mitarai household by marrying Anzu’s father.
Makiko was once a modest single mother who admired Anzu’s beautiful mother.
She now revels in a luxurious life as an arrogant wealthy wife.
Anzu, now 25 years-old and firmly believes that Makiko is the true culprit behind the fire, succeeds in infiltrating the house as a housekeeper at the age of 25.
She has only one objective: revenge against that woman.
