“Don’t blame me because your boyfriend abandoned you! At least I’m trying!”
“Well, stop! Stop trying! Stop hoping! Because look around you! Nobody’s coming for us!”

Here is another OLM of OITNB that was part of the poll I made a few days ago, but nobody voted it. So it was last on my list.

Context: Blanca and Maritza decide to call a lawyer that Maritza knew based on their jingle and the fact that she slept with someone in their legal office. Due to the kiosk being broken and unable to get a phone card to call, they decide to ask someone to use their phone card. A fellow inmate named Efua decides to give them her phone card, which has $12 in it, in exchange for $30 from Blanca’s account. Maritza calls the lawyer, but the call is cut short due to the card being spent all of its money. Blanca is angry at Maritza for ruining their last chance and Maritza tries to get Blanca to be positive and not to give up, but Blanca shouts at her to stop as it’s hopeless and they’ll never get out.

My favorite versions: English, European French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, and Turkish. Which versions are your favorites?
