This was pulled from the bonus disc of the Utena Blu-ray box set. The audio is her 1996 audition for the part of Utena, and the pictures (possibly all?) are from the 2008 DVD remaster project, where she rerecorded some of Utena’s lines. This video was compiled and played at an All Night Movie Screening in December of 2012.
Tomoko Kawakami died in 2011, after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was 41.
