About “Hiromiya” Toji Stay
Hiromiya started in 1960 as a family business welcoming guests to its place of healing in Kannawa, Beppu. The Japanese word toji (湯治) means hot spring cure. Guests from all over Japan would stay at Hiromiya Toji Stay for days, weeks, or even months to heal their mind and body by soaking themselves in mineral rich hot springs.
In April, 2019 Hiromiya Toji Stay re-opened as a place for visitors and locals to connect. We like to think of Hiromiya as a tourist information centre meets local community centre. Whether you are staying for one night or one month in Beppu, we hope you make Hiromiya Toji Stay a part of your local hot spring experience.
