And here we get out introduction to the tertiary villain of the show. Kauler (or Cowler) has such a cool design, and the actor is also great. It’s extremely menacing without being too over the top.
Although I’m surprised they never give the individual Hunters their own names, especially since it seems like they’re posing for a subtitle drop in the scene.
It’s a great introduction, though the UFO. even for Sentai, looks a little too cheap, especially compared to the main Mes ship. It’s all studio and matte shots anyways so I don’t know why they even bother compositing. Still, aside from that, this scene is great.
