【TSSテレビ新広島】「ウクライナに平和を」被爆者団体デモ行進　Protest march by hibakusha organizations

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues,hibakusha organizations gathered for a protest demanding the immediate end to the war in Ukraine and the abolition of nuclear weapons.

Approximately 150 members of the Hiroshima Prefectural Confederation of A-Bomb Sufferers Organization and
the Hiroshima Congress Against A- and H-Bombs marched in protest to speak out against Russia, who has implied the use of nuclear weapons, as well as to strongly demand the immediate withdrawal of the Russian army from Ukraine.

Participants held sunflowers, the national flower of Ukraine,and marched through downtown Hiroshima, calling for peace.

When you think about what happened in Hiroshima 77 years ago,it would be disastrous for our world to allow the same thing to happen today.

The end of the protest march, participants stood before the Atomic Bomb Dome, a symbol of peace,and chanted phrases calling for Russia to stop murdering Ukrainian civilians and for peace in Ukraine.

ロシアによるウクライナへの侵攻が続く中、被爆者団体などが即時停戦と核兵器の使用禁止などを訴える抗議活動を行いました。

県被団協や原水協などから、およそ１５０人が参加した抗議活動では、核兵器の使用をちらつかせ恫喝するロシアの姿勢を非難するとともに、ウクライナからの即時撤退を強く求めました。また参加者はウクライナの「国の花」であるひまわりを手にし、平和の大切さを訴えるデモ行進を行いました。

最後に参加者は、平和の象徴である原爆ドームを背景にし、「ウクライナ市民の命をこれ以上奪うな」などとシュプレヒコールをあげていました。
