giving the impression that it is about to move at any moment.<br \/>\nThough still, it holds within it a powerful sense of motion.<\/p>\n<p>To me, a mikoshi is more than a sacred vehicle.<br \/>\nIt carries memory, spirit, and the will of the people.<br \/>\nIt is where past and present meet\u2014and where something is carried forward into the future.<\/p>\n<p>This day, too, has been engraved within me.<br \/>\nAnd its story\u2026 will
