A Standard Double room came to \u00a58,800 ($55) \u2014 exceptional value for a stay in such a central Tokyo location.<\/p>\n<p>The room is a compact 14 m\u00b2, but everything is carefully thought out: a 160 cm Simmons bed, a whole-building water purification system (drink straight from the tap!), and a surprisingly well-stocked self-service amenity corner. Other highlights include the hotel&#8217;s genuine SDGs commitment, a directly connected breakfast caf\u00e9 (Uchima Coffee), and a robot-operated Chinese restaurant next door.<\/p>\n<p>The weather wasn&#8217;t cooperating on check-in day, so I also made a separate visit to Akasaka Sanno Hie Shrine \u2014 finally collecting my goshuin seal at the newly completed shrine office. In the evening, I caught the beautiful spring illumination at Akasaka Sacas.
