Sekikawa Village , Niigata Pref.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sainokami&#8221; is known nationwide as\u5de6\u7fa9\u9577\uff08 Sagicho\uff09for a long time , originally it was a court event held during the Heian period in which three ball sticks were tied together, and its name comes from &#8220;\u4e09\u6bec\u6756\uff08Sagicho\uff09,&#8221; meaning three ball sticks, and it seems to have spread throughout the country.<br \/>\nThe name has been changed to Saino kami , Dondo Yaki , Kunadono kami in each region, some regions use Sagicho as it is still now.<\/p>\n<p>Niigata&#8217;s &#8220;Sai no Kami&#8221; is a traditional and Sacred fire festival held during the New Year, where people bring New Year&#8217;s decorations and calligraphy and Omamori , Kamidara used last year to burn,<br \/>\nPraying for household safety, prosperity in business, and bountiful harvests.<br \/>\nPeople roast rice cakes and dried squid to pray for good health.<br \/>\nThe burning flames are believed to ward off evil spirits, and the higher the flame, the better comes .  <\/p>\n<p>Event Overview<br \/>\nTime: Primarily during the Little New Year (mid-January).<br \/>\nWe can know the date about a half a year before.<\/p>\n<p>Content: A cone-shaped &#8220;Sainokami&#8221; made from kadomatsu (New Year&#8217;s pine decorations), shimenawa (sacred rope), calligraphy, and amulets is lit on fire,<br \/>\nand the fire flames are used to roast and eat rice cakes and dried squid.<\/p>\n<p>Purpose: Pray for household safety, prosperity in business, bountiful harvests, good health, and protection from evil.<\/p>\n<p>For Travel Agency,<br \/>\nInquiry :  info@kyushugokoro.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u300c\u8cfd\u306e\u795e\u300dSainokami, Only One time per a year!
