in Isahaya City.<br \/>\nWhile enjoying views of the Ariake Sea and its tidal flats, we traveled along the Unzen-Tara Sea Line and entered Kunimi Town.  <\/p>\n<p>This road, nestled between the sea and the sea, is a route that slowly unwinds the heart as you head toward Kojiro.  <\/p>\n<p>Kojiro is a mysterious town that still retains its quietude.<br \/>\nHere, the residence of the Kojiro Nabeshima family remains\u2014a branch of the Nabeshima family, lords of the Saga Domain.  <\/p>\n<p>Why was the Nabeshima family stationed at the entrance to the Shimabara Peninsula?<br \/>\nWhy didn\u2019t Kojiro develop into a castle town or a post town?<br \/>\n Behind this lies the era following the Shimabara Rebellion and the town planning that chose &#8220;to make nothing happen.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>Though it\u2019s not flashy, you can quietly feel the history of this town in the curves of its roads, the stance of its residences, and the stillness of its gardens.  <\/p>\n<p>This time, we take a walk through Kojiro, a town with little sound, listening carefully to the reason for its quiet.  <\/p>\n<p>We hope you enjoy
