There are flowers arranged inside. It&#8217;s well cared for. There are a lot of mansions built from old families. We have arrived at Shimotsuruma Suwa Shrine. I thought it was a local shrine, but it&#8217;s actually a pretty big shrine. It is unknown when it was first built, but there are records of it dating back to the 800s, so it must be about 1,200 years old. This main hall was built in 1872 over a period of three years. Apparently the carving took a long time. This spacious area is perfect for a play area for local children. I think they are cherry trees. There are quite a few planted.
