Even though this beautiful place is nicknamed the &#8220;Gates of Hell,&#8221; it really felt more like heaven. The Osorezan Temple and Hot Spring is one of the three holiest sites of Japan and was founded in the ninth century by Great Buddhist Master Jikaku Enin.
