We start our cold winter morning walk today on the bridge over the Chubetsu river \u5fe0\u5225\u5ddd the main river through the center of town. Then we move on down towards the Michi-no-eki \u2013 the main tourist office, and a great place to find local produce and information about places to go and things to see in the area. We continue down some of the backstreets of Higashikawa exploring the beautiful streets that are very peaceful on this quiet morning. The snow covered houses are so beautiful on this sunny morning, and you&#8217;ll love the crunch of our footsteps as we walk through the town! This beautiful town in Hokkaido is an interesting place for a morning walk, especially on a sunny winter\u2019s day!
