The Kōno-su Flower Festival is held every year in May. This event, held to promote Konosu City as a “town of flowers,” will feature flower displays at various locations throughout the city. First, we arrived at the horse stable area where we could see the poppies. Apparently, the poppies were originally planted to prevent illegal dumping of waste. Spanning an area of approximately 12.5 hectares, this is one of the largest poppy fields in Japan, with approximately 30 million poppy flowers in bloom. The flower petals, appearing translucent when backlit, are delicate yet beautiful, beautifully contrasting against the clear blue sky. The variety of red and pink poppies is called Shirley Poppy. The orange and white poppy varieties are Icelandic poppies and California poppies. We moved to a different venue and have now arrived at Hanakyu-no-Sato. Hanakyu-no-sato is a place where you can enjoy a beautiful garden filled with roses and seasonal flowers, as well as music events and local cuisine. The rose garden features approximately 300 varieties of roses, totaling 1000 plants. The former residence of Masahisa Aoki, a man who loved roses, was donated to the city of Kōno and opened as a public garden in 2007. A wide variety of rose varieties bloom at different times of the year, and rose festivals are held in both spring and autumn. The garden had a flower-shaped water basin with roses. The Kōno-su Flower Festival was an event where visitors could enjoy large fields of poppies and a beautiful rose garden along the riverbank.

Kōnosu-hana Matsuri (Kōnosu City Flower Festival)
【Umamuro Venue】
587-1 Takimamuro, Kōno-shi, Saitama Prefecture
Event Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Parking: Temporary parking available (500 yen per vehicle)
【Hanakyu-no-Sato】
343 Sekishinden, Kōno-shi, Saitama Prefecture
Business Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Parking: Available (Free)
*Please check the official website and social media for the latest information before visiting.

#こうのす花まつり #花 #祭り #観光 #埼玉県 #鴻巣市 #ポピー #バラ #花久の里

多彩な花に出会える【こうのす花まつり】-Kōnosu City Flower Festival- Kōnosucity Flower Festival, Saitama Prefecture We have arrive

[144712
22521,365682,1057,418510,7402,46036,32,37895,71639,49592,37894,27896,315925,25400,536,26842,27850,349316,2800,45,12255,37893,3544,418508,350953,418506,47140,154236,776,27642,23336,418507,74459,8714,3750,570,10407,144794,10411,144792,144793,129529,676,2131,519,18,526,7037,43992,327,270216,3957,2325,146,592,41233,18603,418509,306604,16013,346907,202,426,379,23333,23334
0":"post-759153","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-saitama","8":"tag-22521","9":"tag-365682","10":"tag-beautiful","11":"tag-color","12":"tag-flower","13":"tag-flowers","14":"tag-japan","15":"tag-orange","16":"tag-pink","17":"tag-poppy","18":"tag-red","19":"tag-rose","20":"tag-roses","21":"tag-saitama","22":"tag-sightseeing","23":"tag-spectacular-view","24":"tag-white","25":"tag-349316","26":"tag-2800","27":"tag-45","28":"tag-12255","29":"tag-37893","30":"tag-3544","31":"tag-418508","32":"tag-350953","33":"tag-418506","34":"tag-47140","35":"tag-154236","36":"tag-776","37":"tag-27642","38":"tag-23336","39":"tag-418507","40":"tag-74459","41":"tag-8714","42":"tag-3750","43":"tag-570","44":"tag-10407","45":"tag-144794","46":"tag-10411","47":"tag-144792","48":"tag-144793","49":"tag-129529","50":"tag-676","51":"tag-2131","52":"tag-519","53":"tag-18","54":"tag-526","55":"tag-7037","56":"tag-43992","57":"tag-327","58":"tag-270216","59":"tag-3957","60":"tag-2325","61":"tag-146","62":"tag-592","63":"tag-41233","64":"tag-18603","65":"tag-418509","66":"tag-306604","67":"tag-16013","68":"tag-346907","69":"tag-202","70":"tag-426","71":"tag-379","72":"tag-23333","73":"tag-23334
["GET
