We start our cold winter morning walk today in the back streets near the Chubetsu river \u5fe0\u5225\u5ddd the main river through the town. We then move on through the snowy streets towards Route 1160 \u2013 the main road that leads up to Asahidake, and a great place to find local shops and restaurants. We continue down some of the backstreets of Higashikawa exploring the beautiful areas of town that are very peaceful on this quiet afternoon. The snow covered houses are so beautiful on this sunny day, and you&#8217;ll love the crunch of my footsteps as we walk through the town! This beautiful town in Hokkaido is an interesting place for a morning walk, especially on a sunny winter\u2019s day!
