{"id":632855,"date":"2025-06-19T11:36:43","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T11:36:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wacoca.com\/tour\/632855\/"},"modified":"2025-06-19T11:36:43","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T11:36:43","slug":"trip-report-tokyo-to-kagoshima-on-ana-b767-incredible-last-minute-domestic-flight-in-japan-%f0%9f%87%af%f0%9f%87%b5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wacoca.com\/tour\/632855\/","title":{"rendered":"Trip Report : Tokyo to Kagoshima on ANA B767 | Incredible Last-Minute Domestic Flight in Japan \ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title = \"Trip Report : Tokyo to Kagoshima on ANA B767 | Incredible Last-Minute Domestic Flight in Japan \ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5\"   width=\"580\" height=\"385\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tx3fT8vTEe8\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<br \/>\nTrip Report : Tokyo to Kagoshima on ANA B767 | Incredible Last-Minute Domestic Flight in Japan \ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5<br \/>\n<br \/>\n[Music] hey hey hey hey everyone welcome back or if you&#8217;re new here I&#8217;m KT right now I&#8217;m on the Tokyo Montreal heading to Haneda Airport i&#8217;m flying with ANA on a domestic flight down to Kakoshima aboard a Boeing 767 but um I&#8217;m a little stressed my flight&#8217;s at 6:40 a.m and it&#8217;s already 6:00 a.m and I&#8217;m only halfway there why because someone yep me somehow thought the flight was at 8:40 a.m yeah not ideal so did I miss my flight hell no this is Japan the land of insanely good customer service i got to the check-in counter at 6:20 a.m and somehow they still managed to check in my bag rush me through a special security lane and I made it to the gate by 6:35 a.m honestly I&#8217;m in awe that&#8217;s Japanese efficiency for you [Music] as I mentioned earlier this is a domestic run down to Kagoshima flying time is just under 2 hours around 1 hour and 50 minutes with a departure at 6:40 a.m and arrival into Kagoshima at 8:30 a.m [Music] [Music] [Music] the seating is in a 232 layout the seats are a bit on the slim side but still pretty comfy and honestly they&#8217;ve held up really well for an 18-year-old aircraft [Music] ana operates all their domestic flights and some international ones from terminal 2 hanetta has three terminals in total terminal 1 and two handle domestic flights while terminal 3 is used for most international flights [Music] our departure today will be from Haneta&#8217;s fourth runway known as runway 05-23 or the D runway which only opened in 2010 [Music] another look at runway 5 right after takeoff with Haneda airport in the background [Music] [Music] as we level off at cruising altitude the clear skies give us a perfect view of Mount Fuji one of those classic only in Japan moments from the window seat [Music] drink service kicked off with a simple selection green tea juice coffee or tea i went with the apple juice [Music] this is my third video in my Japan and Korea series where I explore flying around the region if you haven&#8217;t already check out my Jet Start flight to Seoul and my review of Japan Airlines 787-9 coming up I also be flying on a &#8211; AQ400 with ANA wings and reviewing Korean Air A321 Neo this toilet was clearly designed with accessibility in mind it&#8217;s wide spacious and easy to move around in big props to ANA for thinking about passengers with disabilities [Music] we&#8217;ve started our descent into Kagoshima down at the southwestern tip of Kyushu it&#8217;s the biggest city in the prefecture by far and folks sometimes call it the Naples of the East thanks to its bay views warm weather and the iconic Sakuraima volcano [Music] [Music] just landed at Kagoshima Airport the second busiest airport on Kyushu Island after Fukuoka it&#8217;s got a single 3,000 m runway and sees over 6 million passengers come through each year [Music] i say Kagoshima is more of a tier 2 airport mainly served by regional carriers japan Air Commuter which is Jel&#8217;s regional arm actually has his headquarters based here kakoima has a total of nine domestic gates plus one international gate that handles a handful of flights to place like Taiwan China and South Korea [Music] [Music] to wrap up the flight ANA delivered a solid experience both on the ground and in the air big shout out to the awesome ground staff at Haneda for helping me out even though I rocked up just 20 minutes before departure the cabin was clean and in good shape especially considering the plane&#8217;s age free Wi-Fi worked well and the entertainment was BYOD style they also offered a basic drink service here&#8217;s how I rate today&#8217;s flight thanks for watching i really appreciate the support for my little channel feel free to drop any suggestions in the comments on how I can make the content even better always open to feedback [Music]<br \/>\n<br \/>\nJoin me on an unforgettable domestic flight experience in Japan, as I fly from Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) to Kagoshima Airport (KOJ) aboard an All Nippon Airways (ANA) Boeing 767-300 (JA616A).<\/p>\n<p>Despite arriving just 20 minutes before departure, the ANA ground staff went above and beyond to help me check in my luggage and make it to the gate with only 5 minutes to spare. Their efficiency and outstanding customer service truly amazed me.<\/p>\n<p>During the flight, we had beautiful views of Tokyo Bay on takeoff and even caught a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance. The cabin was nearly empty, the 2-3-2 seat layout was comfortable for a domestic route, and ANA provided free onboard Wi-Fi and drink service.
