First, I visited the Besshi Copper Mine Museum. Here, I learned about the management history of this copper mine that built the prosperity of the Sumitomo family, one of Japan’s three major zaibatsu (industrial conglomerates), spanning about 300 years from the 17th century. Afterward, I took a bus to Minetopia Besshi, a theme park utilizing the former mine site, and to “Tounaru,” an area known as the Machu Picchu of the East, where industrial heritage sites of the Besshi Copper Mine still exist deep in the mountains of Niihama. With the poor weather with thick fog, I wondered how this Machu Picchu would appear…Please watch how it was like.

Who am I?
🙋🏻‍♀️ I am sugoroku and now on a journey to travel to 47 prefectures in Japan by my trike 🛺 I would like my videos to be valuable to those interested in my country.
