Lunch at a local Italian restaurant highlighted the region&#8217;s fresh produce and welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Our stay at various Airbnbs provided a glimpse into daily life, from the alpine foothills to bustling residential areas. We explored artisanal bakeries, visited the Daio Wasabi Farm, and enjoyed local attractions like Azumino Glass Studio and Matsumoto Alps Park. The region\u2019s mix of modernized old homes and untouched countryside offered a compelling balance of tradition and growth.<\/p>\n<p>Although summer heat and clouds slightly hindered our experience, Azumino&#8217;s rural charm and mountain vistas made a lasting impression.
