In addition, it is also known as a leading flower attraction in Miyagi Prefecture, and in the spring there are about 40 varieties of cherry blossoms centered on Somei Yoshino and Weeping cherry blossoms. About a week after Somei Yoshino is in full bloom, a national designated natural monument &#8220;Shiogamazakura&#8221; blooms.
