east longitude and 24\u00b055&#8217;39&#8221; north latitude, at the northern foot of the Nanling Mountains and at the junction of Hunan and Guangdong provinces. It is connected to Yizhang County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province , and Ruyuan , Yangshan, Lianzhou and other places in Guangdong Province. The hydrological characteristics are remarkable, with numerous streams and waterfalls. The climate type is subtropical monsoon climate . The vegetation coverage rate is high, mainly subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests , including a variety of rare plants. It owns the core landscape of the Mangshan Mountain, including dozens of scenic spots such as Wuzhifeng, Jinbian Grand Canyon, Jinbian Shenzhu, Motianling, Tiantai Mountain, Guanyin Ancient Temple and Wanshou Pagoda.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;China&#8217;s Southern Ridge &#8211; Hunan and Guangdong Mangshan&#8221; &#8211; the best-preserved virgin forest at the same latitude on Earth , the gene bank of plants and animals in southern China, and the granite geological mountain of the Nanling Mountains. In May of the following year, the first phase of the Mangshan Wuzhifeng Scenic Area project, with an investment of 1 billion yuan, officially started.
