autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u30fbKintai Bridge<\/p>\n<p>Kintai Bridge is a nationally designated scenic spot and is one of Japan&#8217;s most representative wooden bridges.<\/p>\n<p>In 1673, Hiroyoshi Yoshikawa, the third lord of Iwakuni, built a wooden bridge, but it was soon washed away by a flood of the Nishiki River.<\/p>\n<p>However, the bridge was rebuilt in 1674 after some improvements were made, and maintained its dignity for 276 years until it was washed away by a flood caused by Typhoon No. 29 in 1950.<\/p>\n<p>After it was washed away, it was rebuilt again as a wooden bridge in 1953 due to strong requests from citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The bridge is about 193m long and 5m wide.<\/p>\n<p>It is built using the &#8220;timber frame technique&#8221;
