Tucked deep in the mountains of Misasa, this film follows a slow spring day in one of Japan’s most beautiful onsen towns. Welcome to the hidden heart of Tottori—a place often overlooked, yet unforgettable. A place in between the pines in the Kansai region.

Known for its 400-year-old hot spring culture, Misasa Onsen is said to hold some of the most radium-rich waters in the world. Locals call it miracle water – a gift from the earth, where healing feels less like science and more like a ritual. We visited Sanbutsu-ji, a temple carved into the cliffs of Mount Mitoku, holding centuries of devotion. Took a pottery class with a local sensei.
