經過反覆觀看影片，感覺這艘船只載了5員乘客，所以實際上這趟載了幾員乘客呢？
這收入不夠他們的油錢啊！希望他們的營運能繼續下去，因為我也很想去搭乘，雖然我從台灣過去大分３次了，但大分的溫泉和景色讓我回味無窮還想再次造訪！
Thank you for this interesting video. I used to take a hovercraft between France and England. It seems their design has improved, because when I took it it was very noisy and a lot of passengers were seasick – some of them as soon as it took off. They didn't go out in rough weather either. The last one belonging to the company I used crossed the Channel in 2000. I don't know if it's still possible to take a catamaran, but it used to be. See you soon.

ホーバークラフト、復活したんですよね♪日本ではもう造られないけど、世界的にも珍しいから、ロマンがあるなぁと思います。陸から海に入っていくのも、その逆も、見ていて楽しかったです。そして、現地の名物を食す、良い旅を見せていただいてありがとうございます😊
the other hovercraft is in the UK but not as scenic…looking at the terrain between the city and airport this makes sense to run, it’s just a quicker ferry

The first modern hovercraft was invented, tested & built in the United Kingdom by engineer Christopher Cockerel in the 1950's..only one regular passenger service still operates today…they were too expensive to run so, they were retired as ferry services and the Channel Tunnel were cheaper..
It looks like the same model of craft as the Southsea to Ryde one

The is a nice option for travel. A quick way to get across. Hopefully won't impact the ferry travelers too much. I would think it can't travel if seas are too rough or if weather is too bad like bad rain or snowing. 🐺🐺

Deswegen hat mich Ihre Reise sofort fasziniert.Danke Ihnen auch fürf dieses Mal inklusive des tollen Essens, Sie wissen ich bin ja ein Fan Ihrer Dokumentationen und verabschiede mich diesmal wieder aus Garmisch — Partenkirchen .

40年程前に乗りました。初めてホバークラフトに乗れたので嬉しかったけど、天候が悪くて乗り心地が悪く腰にガンガン響いてました。船もガタガタして壊れるのではないかと思いました
毎回毎回欠航、昔と変わらない。
使えない。
アクセス悪く、荷物を運ぶなら絶対バスが便利です。
もし朝車で西大分に行き、帰り時化て欠航したらそれこそ大変です。
時間を大切にするなら、バスですよ、観光で時間がありあまっているなら乗ってみても
良いかな！
昔のホーバーに数回乗った事がありましたが、その時は冬と春（春一番で欠航になります）は
避けました。
過去平松元知事がそのため空港道路を整備したので良かったと思いますが、まさか元広瀬知事
の意向通りに佐藤知事まで再開したのにはびっくりですよね）
Great trip. It's great you try this unique ship. The reason why this unique ship is rare, more specific for civilians use, is because the noise from the engine can disturbing neighborhood, especially around the Hovercraft Terminal/Port, and of course other reason is the fuel consumption of this unique ship is extra or even double than conventional ferry, that's why this unique ship commonly used for Military use, since it's flexible and Military doesn't care about fuel price.
この大分のホーバーと同じメーカーでもある英国グリフォン・ホバーワーク社の軍用型が海自のLCACの後継の候補に挙がっているようですね。
関空→神戸 の連絡コースにも使えそう。
中国还有两条航线在用气垫船，一个是黑龙江同江去俄罗斯，一个是辽宁觉华岛到葫芦岛，冬天结冰的时候会出动气垫船。
Wonder if this may be sustainable in the long run, since hovercrafts tend to be very energy inefficient and require specific window of sea condition in which they can operate. The occupation rate seems to be far below healthy level from the footage and the low frequency of 4 trips per day also doesn't help. The manpower seems to be a non-issue though since the Japanese Marines have been operating hovercrafts for beach landing operations for so many years so there are relatively many ex-military personnel that have the expertise of piloting and maintaining it. Nevertheless in the moment, it may run because of lavish local government subsidy and perhaps some hype but I don't know how long that will last.

西大分港から大分空港まで乗って来ました。往復しようとおもったけど、次の便が15時だったので バスで戻りタクシーで西大分港まで車を取りに戻りました。😅

ホーバー基地から大分駅のシャトルバスは利用者が少なく廃止となり、600円の相乗りタクシーになったな。
ホーバーがやや速くても車に乗り換えだとバスと比べて速達性はほとんど無く、バスは相変わらず大混雑。
観光乗船以外の効果はほぼ無かったようだ。
なお、荷物を持っていなければホバー乗り場から大分駅までは春日神社近く～県立美術館のルートで
歩いて30分から40,分で行くことは可能。
Wow. I love Japan and trying unique forms of transportation so I hope I get to try this on a future trip there since I've never been on a hovercraft. Now I need to see if there's anything in Oita to justify making the trip out there – other than the hovercraft ride of course lol.

昔、岡山の宇野と四国の高松間をJRが運航してた。 エンジンは、ターボシャフトエンジンで、ほぼYS11と同じ音してたなぁ 乗っておけばよかった。 廃止後に一度だけ岡山市内まで川を遡って試験運航されたみたいだけど、結局営業運航にはならなかった……
実は今週乗る予定なのでいい予習になりました。空港発12時の便で大分駅着いたら鶏天を食べたいと思っているので、全く同じ行動になりそう(笑)
空港ターミナルの横からどうやって出発するのかと思っていたのですが陸上を走るのですね。
それにしても悲しいほど空いている。大分駅までの所要時間を考えるとトータルでバスと変わらないのがなあ・・・

３０年ほど前に、昔勤務していた会社での大分出張で、大分空港から大分港 旧大分ホーバークラフトに乗船したことがあります。
当時のホーバークラフトは、プロペラエンジンがうるさく、波があれていたからでしょうか揺れがありました。
動画を見ると、エンジン音は静かになりましたし、最近、再開されてターミナルも新しくきれいになりましたね。
