Hello, this is “ichitabi”. A trip on the JR Kobe Line. This time, I’m at “Nishinomiya”. This is what it looks like after I left the north exit. There’s a rotary, and it’s quieter than I expected. The inside of the station seemed spacious, but the exterior of the station building is small. Next, I head to the south exit , which is incredibly prosperous. There are a lot of commercial facilities and buildings. The rotary is also larger here. The station building is also small here. As always, I start with a delicious coffee. I went to a shop about a 5-minute walk from the south exit. I went one station at a time from Maiko, but there were clearly more bicycles in Nishinomiya. There were so many that I was scared. I looked up “Akaneya Nishinomiya Branch” and found out that they had breakfast, but when I came, they opened at 11:00 for lunch. What a shame. There’s a bicycle parking lot all the way. It’s amazing. I went to the shop across the national highway. “NI to WA” was unexpectedly closed! I had no choice but to go to a lunch shop. I want to drink coffee quickly. Let’s go to the north side of the station. Nishinomiya has a lot of bicycles, but there are also a lot of cars. It is a city with big roads passing through various places. There is an overpass next to the station, so bicycles can pass through. We left the north exit and walked about 5 minutes north to the restaurant. “Western Dining One Scene” The corn soup for lunch arrived. It was incredibly delicious. It was rich and creamy. The restaurant has a counter and a few table seats. It is not large, but the interior is very clean. Steak lunch 2000 yen The meat is not very tender, but firm. It is very delicious. Personally, I like it this hard. For lunch, you can choose bread and rice. The doneness is medium rare. I can’t cook it this well. This restaurant seems to be popular for its omelet rice. The sauce is also incredibly delicious. I’m sure it would be delicious with bread… The drinks and desserts that come with the lunch are as authentic as those in a cafe. They are the best. The cake is a warm chocolate chiffon cake. This is also authentic. This is also as delicious as those in a cafe. I was very satisfied with this lunch for 2000 yen. It ‘s close to the station and delicious, so I recommend it. Next, we went up the hill to the north of Nishinomiya. It’s about a 25-minute walk from the station. It’s not a steep climb, so it’s not that hard. The Higashi River (Mitarashigawa) flows on the north side of the station. It doesn’t go straight from north to south, but meanders a little to the left and right. It’s a view that I feel like I’ve seen on TV before. We pass under the Hankyu Railway overpass. The atmosphere of the town is very different when we come to the north side. The roads become straighter and it feels relatively quiet. Hirota Shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Hyogo Prefecture and has a long history. It is said to have originated when Empress Jingu enshrined Amaterasu Omikami’s Aramitama here on her way back from an overseas expedition. It is famous as the god of victory, and the Hanshin Tigers also visit it to pray for victory. It is said that if you visit the shrine, you will be blessed with good fortune, victory, and safe childbirth! Even on weekdays, there were quite a few people visiting. The shrine grounds are large, and the wind passes through. I can’t take a picture of the inside, but the view from the prayer hall on both sides of the main hall is very mystical. I went back to the station again and had a coffee. I came from a different entrance when I came here, but this seems to be the main entrance. Just go south on the road in front of the shrine. Go straight for about 20 minutes. Nishinomiya has so many wide roads that you lose your sense of direction. It’s a little hard to tell north from south. You won’t get lost, though. After walking a little further, you will see the first torii gate of the shrine. It is indeed a very impressive shrine. A little after passing under the Hankyu overpass, you will reach the shop. “Yuge Roastery Main Store” The interior of the store is very stylish. Blended coffee 550 yen Donut 400 yen Souffle fromage 500 yen They politely answered my questions about my favorite coffee flavor, and I told them I like bitter coffee. They bake the donuts after I order them. They are incredibly delicious. Their cakes are also incredibly delicious. They have a soft texture, but taste like cheese tart. If you order these three items, you can spend a happy time in the stylish store. The interior is stylish and the food is delicious, so I recommend it. Next, we went to a place about 5 minutes west of this store. The roads around here have no traffic lights at the crosswalks, which is thrilling ( lol ) . The roads are flat, so it’s definitely convenient to have a bicycle. There are really a lot of bicycles… “Bay Area 81” I had a Coke for the first time in a long time. The interior and music playing are very American. The fries that come with the authentic drink set for 1800 yen are not as strongly seasoned as I expected, and they are delicious with a strong potato flavor. You can eat the burger by wrapping it up or with a fork and knife. I couldn’t cut it neatly, but the taste was excellent. The meat inside is especially great. It reminds me of a restaurant I went to in Asahikawa, Hokkaido… I was able to cut it neatly. It’s great to take a bite like this. The sauce inside is also delicious, and it’s surprisingly easy to eat. It’s an authentic burger, so I recommend it. Nishinomiya has many wide roads and an impression of a lot of bicycles. On the other hand, I felt that there were not many people walking around. I wonder if many people travel by car? It’s flat, so I don’t get tired even when walking. The river I saw on the way there. I think it looks like the river in Shioya. I returned to Nishinomiya Station. This time I traveled to Nishinomiya. Next time I’ll be at Koshienguchi, next door.
