【北海道・函館おすすめホテル】観光に抜群の立地!函館の人気回転寿司店が運営する朝食バイキング|JRイン函館
This video introduces recommended hotels for sightseeing in Hakodate. The hotel we stayed at is directly connected to Hakodate Station, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. The hotel is packed with railway charm, including headmarks of old trains and concept rooms with driving simulations. Find your favorite pillow in the pillow selection area and enjoy a luxurious breakfast buffet run by Hakodate’s local fishmonger, Marukatsu Suisan. An ideal hotel for sightseeing in Hakodate, offering great convenience and location. From the top-floor bath, you can enjoy a relaxing soak with a view of Hakodate Station below. Please enjoy until the end♪ “Happiever Channel” We stayed at “JR Inn Hakodate”, directly connected to Hakodate Station. This location once housed a railroad track used to transport luggage to the Seikan Ferry. As a reminder of this, the lobby features art depicting trains. With the opening of the Seikan Tunnel, the era of sleeper trains began. Here, you can see the headmarks of various sleeper trains that connected Hokkaido and Tokyo. Learn more about the trains through the explanatory panels. Why not take a photo in a box seat as a memento of your stay? It feels like an old train? Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM the following day. Various amenities are available in the lobby. Tourist information and a work counter are also available. USB jacks and power outlets are also available. In one corner of the lobby, there’s a “Pillow Selection Corner.” Choose your favorite pillow, including Airweave and Tempur-Pedic. Available in firm, medium, and soft options. I boarded the Mitsui O.S.K. Lines “Sunflower Ferry”, which operates the Hokkaido route. During the approximately 20-hour voyage, I enjoyed breakfast and dinner buffets and a large public bath. I also stayed in a sleeper room that felt like a secret hideout. Please look forward to the main story! Please continue to enjoy my pillow selection process. (Explanation) To recover from fatigue and get active rest. I think I’ll go with this one! I’ll take the pillowcase from the shelf with me. There are samples of fillings on display, so it’s easy to understand. Walking around with my pillow reminds me of my childhood. Next, I head to my room. Here’s my room on the 11th floor! I booked a twin room (20 m²) through Agoda. A one-night stay with breakfast buffet is priced at 11,000 yen per person. This room features a modern design and a relaxing atmosphere. It features a Simmons coil mattress. The room is very well-appointed and comfortable. There’s a light switch and power outlet next to the pillow. The view outside is like a framed painting. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Hakodate and Hakodate Bay. The pajamas are made of thick, sturdy fabric. They’re long and feature buttons at the collar. They also have an inner drawstring, so they’re easy to keep in place. There’s a table by the bed, which seems convenient for snacks or work. Information on the view from the room is provided. The room is equipped with an air purifier and humidifier. The full-length mirror is large and very clear. Two types of slippers are available: disposable and regular. Shoe cleaners are also available, ideal for business travelers. There’s a modern, compact sink in the hallway. To use the large public bath, you’ll need to bring your room towels. This room has a shower booth-style bathroom, spacious enough for adults . The water pressure is excellent. There’s no changing room, so roller shades separate the rooms. The hair dryer is made by Panasonic. The restroom is simple and clean. The heated toilet seat is easily operated with a wall-mounted remote control. It automatically flushes with a sensor. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. There’s a mini-refrigerator under the counter. You must turn it on after entering the room. A drawer contains a conversion cable, two mugs, and two cups. There’s also a kettle and green tea bags. A desk and chair are located in one corner of the room, making it convenient for small tasks. Approximately 500 books, including railway-related books and manga, are lined up. The sun-filled lounge offers panoramic views of Hakodate Port and Mount Hakodate. The space is filled with various railway-related materials, making it a must-see for train enthusiasts. Items used on the Seikan Ferry are on display. The lounge is recommended for those who want to relax when the first-floor lobby is crowded. We’d like to introduce the “Train Room” concept room. The guest rooms are equipped with box seats that were actually used in the facility. Some guests may find these seats nostalgic. The Niseko Express train, departing from Sapporo Station, arrived on the platform. Train enthusiasts are lucky to find a room on the platform side! An actual track map and priority seating signs are displayed. There’s a train strap in the closet! Train and station fixtures are installed throughout the room. I heard there’s an SOS button, so I tried it. Even though I knew it was a dummy, I was still nervous about pressing it. A fan used in the train is attached to the counter. The manufacturing plate remains the same as it was back then. Now, the highlight of the train room! We’re introduced to the driving simulator. It’s just like the driver’s seat! Experience the feeling of driving by operating it in sync with the video. At the time of filming, the route was heading to Hakodate. You can also touch the automatic announcement machine for the one-man train. A “one-man train” is a train operated by only one crew member — the driver. There is no conductor on board. It’s different from the one that was on the train, but it was relocated from Goryokaku Depot, where it was used for driver training. You can set your own fare table for the one-man train. A message saying “Please close the doors” appeared. Turning the handlebars, the speedometer increased. This is the accelerator in a car. The brake is on the right. (Announcer) Thank you for using JR Hokkaido today. (Announcer) This is a local train bound for Hakodate, via Komagatake and Onuma Park. (Announcer) This train is operated by a single driver. (Announcer) Please use the front door when disembarking. Please follow the instructions on the monitor. The display panel moves in conjunction with the steering wheel. I will be operating the driver’s seat. The spring is working, so if you don’t hold it down, it will return. You have to hold it down the whole time. Apparently , the driver keeps his foot on the lever while driving to detect abnormalities. It’s fascinating to be able to experience the feeling of being a driver at any time during your stay. The trash can used on board can be used as a trash can. The train room has an attached changing room and a bathtub in the bathroom. This was an introduction to the “Kiha 40” Train room. Staying at a hotel with a concept is enjoyable. The room number is a combination of the Kiha 40 car number and the room number. Let me introduce the large observation bath on the 12th floor. The men’s bath is equipped with a Refa hair dryer. The large bath, decorated in black, has a partitioned washing area. Although some of the glass is frosted, the view is excellent. The indoor bath is large enough for 6-7 people to fit comfortably. There is a timetable on the wall so you can check when trains are arriving. Beyond the indoor bath is the open-air bath. It is just the right size for about 4 people. The open-air bath with its open ceiling lets in the refreshing Hokkaido breeze. Now, let’s introduce the women’s bath. The changing room is clean and spacious. It is equipped with a Dyson hairdryer. There is also a washroom in the changing room. The large windows create an open, spacious atmosphere. The open-air bath is compact, but the sunlight is very pleasant. While it’s not a hot spring, I enjoyed a relaxing bath. There’s a child-sized chair and a washbasin. There was a towel hanger on the bathroom counter. The illuminated night view of Hakodate is a memorable one. The orange-lit night view is truly beautiful. Before going to bed, we held a souvenir contest. I impulsively bought some limited-edition goods at Lucky Pierrot, including instant curry and socks. What a beautiful morning! We opted for the breakfast buffet at JR Inn Hakodate. We brought our breakfast vouchers. The restaurant is on the first floor and is operated by Marukatsu Suisan, a popular Hakodate seafood restaurant. Let’s get some food! Conveyor belt sushi is available for breakfast. It’s like a dream to enjoy such luxury in the morning. The salad and fruit section. There are small packets of dressing. We eat the sirloin steak with Japanese-style sauce. It had just the right texture and the delicious flavor of the meat. In addition to tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), scrambled eggs, sushi, and sashimi, there are plenty of other hearty dishes on the menu. Sweet and sour pork. Vinegared rice for seafood bowls is available. Marukatsu Suisan is unique in that they offer sashimi in addition to nigiri sushi. Let’s try salmon roe! How about dipping salmon roe in scallops? Chicken curry. Corn soup. You can try Hakodate’s salt ramen. The clear soup looks delicious! Shrimp shumai, squid rice, stir-fried squid and vegetables with oyster sauce, shrimp chili, shrimp mayonnaise, meat and potato stew, and chilled pork shabu-shabu. The special fish soup has a strong seafood flavor and is incredibly delicious. The balance is a little off. The red shrimp sushi are so impressive, it’s hard to believe they’re a breakfast buffet. It’s amazing how the chefs make them! I tried the impressive red shrimp sushi. What beautiful shrimp. It’s thick and plump. The flounder is fresh and mild, yet still savory. The squid somen have a lingering aftertaste, which is a bit disappointing. With this breakfast included, the price of 11,000 yen per night is a steal! I highly recommend eating the scallops before they cool down. I had the fish soup. The salt-based broth is infused with fish broth, and it was delicious. I didn’t know they could even serve such tiny squid rice! It’s authentic, with a glutinous rice filling. Hakodate milk is provided. Hokkaido milk is delicious! The rice machine, miso soup, tea, and drink server. The bread listed on the whiteboard. There are cut into small portions . There’s a wide variety, including savory breads, sweet breads, and simple white breads. I decided on the walnut raisin bread! It was crispy in the toaster, but the raisins and walnuts combined with the chewy texture of the wheat were delicious. The Hakodate milk was also rich and perfect for breakfast! It was my first experience experiencing conveyor-belt sushi in a breakfast venue. What did you think of the “JR Inn Hakodate” ? It’s a great location for anyone traveling to Hakodate. Why not take a relaxing break in our beautiful large public bath and enjoy breakfast? This video shows our sightseeing in Hakodate. Please be sure to watch this video as well!
