It has a population of around 50. And over 200 cats live here—more than the people! This island has more cats than anywhere else in Japan! “Welcome to Tashiro Island” There are two ports on the island, and I arrived at Nitoda Port this time. Tashiro Island is famous, and cat lovers visit from all over the world. I’m one of them too! Cat lovers are united regardless of nationality🐈 No cats at the port, so I’m heading onward. You can enjoy your meal while watching the cats by the window. The cafe is open from 10:15 AM to 3:00 PM.
