何度も訪れている大好きな神社です。
Kumano Nachi-taisha is one of the Kumano Sanzan shrines, along with Kumano Hongu-taisha in Tanabe City and Kumano Hayatama-taisha in Shingu City, and is the headquarters of some 4,000 Kumano shrines nationwide.
Since ancient times, the shrine has been called “Musubi no Miya” (Shrine of Unity) due to the divine virtues of the deity Kumano-Fusumi no Okami, and has been revered as a shrine that not only connects people, but also their various wishes. Nachi-no-taki is also revered by many who respect nature and pray for the prolongation of life and health, as well as by those who pray for the protection of traffic and maritime safety as the god of guidance, based on the legend of the Yatagarasu (three-legged crow), and the sacred (nagi) tree, which symbolizes safety and health. The shrine is a place of deep divine blessings and virtues, as well as the nature of Kumano.
熊野那智大社は、田辺市の熊野本宮大社、新宮市の熊野速玉大社とともに熊野三山の一社として、 全国約4,000社余ある熊野神社の御本社でもあり、日本第一大霊験所根本熊野三所権現として崇敬の篤い社です。
古来当社はご祭神「熊野夫須美大神」の御神徳により「結宮（むすびのみや）」と称され、人の縁だけでなく諸々の願いを結ぶ宮として崇められました。那智御瀧は自然を尊び延命息災を祈る人が多く、また八咫烏の縁起によりお導きの神として交通・海上の安全の守護を祈り、さらに御神木の梛の木は無事息災をあらわすものとして崇められています。熊野の自然と共に神々の恵み深い御神徳のある神社であります。
