Hello, I’m Satori I’m at Haneda Airport now
We are going to Kobe today Flight at 6:40 Need a ride to the gate The weather is not very good today It’s raining so hard it’s like washing a car I bought a special ticket from ANA this time This plane has arrived at Kobe Airport It feels like my eyes have just closed Arrived before I fell asleep Let’s take a ride to Sannomiya Thank you for taking the Port Liner today
This bus is bound for Sannomiya It’s cloudy in Kobe Let’s take a ride to Himeji Didn’t realize it was the previous bus…
We were supposed to take the Xinxing Express If you take the wrong one, it will be faster.
So we got off at Akashi and transferred quickly The time difference between taking the express and the new express to Himeji is half an hour. So be sure to switch quickly By express train, it takes just over an hour from Kobe to Himeji. We arrived at Himeji Let’s go in the direction of Himeji Castle first. Go have lunch first It turns out that you can see Himeji Castle from the station. Directly ahead, you can see it at a glance It takes about 15 minutes to walk from here. I think this road is quite long. The sidewalk is wide This mailbox is so cute It takes about 12 minutes to walk from the station to the store we want to go to. The burgers here are famous It can also be used internally. You need to enter it from the inside. thank you We want to have this one for lunch this is a bakery Then it also sells burgers The uncle we met just now told us that this store is very famous. Said the burger was delicious There are people queuing up now Let’s line up too The internal area is surprisingly large Its menu also has Chinese written on it. I’m wondering which burger I want to eat It also sells French fries and hot dogs Choose a burger, fries or salad and a drink Add 500 yuan like this it has handmade fries I made it myself using raw potatoes. We added some set menu There are three types of black tea to choose from The one we chose is fruit tea I ordered the bacon and egg burger I asked the clerk to help me remove the mustard and mayonnaise. So he just added ketchup Then I chose handmade French fries as a set meal. My husband ordered the double meat burger With mustard sauce I’ll eat the handmade fries first. There shouldn’t be too much salt Quite delicious The fries are so long Probably a very long potato Bacon fried super crispy The bread is also delicious But I haven’t bitten yet Its meat tastes very solid Then there is gravy when you bite it. I think the burger is delicious No wonder the uncle outside just recommended it highly He also said he was on TV The menu says there are 300 grams of meat. That means one piece is 150 grams It should be 150, then two pieces would be 300 Like you, it’s solid, not loose. It feels a bit like eating steak Come buy bread for breakfast tomorrow This shop is famous for its bagels Red bean bread 230 yen including tax Fig & Walnut Bagel 330 yen including tax Husband’s dessert donuts 250 yen including tax I bought bread for breakfast tomorrow Kobe beef… Do you want to eat Kobe beef? Want to eat
Then let’s go straight to Himeji Castle Look, there are souvenirs from Himeji Castle next to you. White wall pudding this pudding The one next to it is a meringue cookie It turns out there are rickshaws available here. It takes four minutes to walk to the outside of Himeji Castle. It’s a pity that the weather is not very good today It should rain soon Himeji Castle is the first registered World Cultural Heritage in Japan. Let’s go in through Otemon The outer walls of Himeji Castle are white Looks like an egret spreading its wings Therefore, it is also called Egret City. You see there are many people on the left who come to teach outside the school. Looks like an elementary school kid The toilets in Himeji Castle also have white walls. it says “Sakura is tired, please let her rest a little.” Oh, so there are cherry blossom trees next to here. Then it should be beautiful when the cherry blossoms bloom like this There is a zoo next to it The entrance fee to the zoo is 250 yuan There are civet cats in the zoo in the middle You can jog around Himeji Castle You can come here for the school running test In the past, boys used to run a thousand and six Girls run 800 Recalling painful memories… There is a common ticket for Himeji Castle and Hokoen Garden here. This is 1,050 yuan The admission ticket to Himeji Castle is 1,000 yen It’s equivalent to adding 50 yen, which is more tickets to the ancient garden. Let’s buy tickets I want two common coupons This is 2,100 yuan Thanks We bought a common admission ticket for 1,050 yen Sending luggage to Himeji Castle only costs 100 yen Send your luggage Let’s head towards the castle tower There seems to be a stage set up next to this place or something. There must be some activities Construction is going on in some places It’s raining… Our umbrellas were sent to the luggage locker Oh, yes! What if it rains heavily later? Miscalculation… If it rains heavily later, you will have to go back in the rain. I hope it doesn’t rain too much It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the entrance to the castle tower You have to carry your own shoes It said that the chairs here are made of the highest grade Ji Ge The castle tower has six floors in total There’s also a basement There are many people inside the castle tower It seems like an army has invaded The castle can also be used as a warehouse Store a lot of gold, silver, weapons and other important things It says that although there is nothing here now What if a war breaks out one day? It will be filled with necessary supplies Let’s try some weapons… Wow, that’s a bad word! It has the answer below and the secret is revealed below. Pick it up and try it So there should have been weapons for you to try out. Lattice bay window for easy defense and attack Himeji Castle was first founded in 1333 Expanded over hundreds of years The current overall appearance was completed in 1617 Himeji Castle’s castle is one of the 12 existing castles in Japan. Completely preserve the appearance at the time of construction The castle tower of Himeji Castle is mainly supported by the east pillar and west pillar. These two huge pillars are both 24.6 meters high From the basement to under the sixth floor floor We’re on the sixth floor There is a Nagabe Shrine The view from the sixth floor is very good It was originally expected that all the windows here would have to be made. But the last four corner windows were not done It becomes a phantom window The routes up and downstairs are separate. The fire hydrants inside the castle are also painted brown. Become one with this place “Samurai Darkroom” Able to hide inside and attack enemies that invade inside I saw the weapon on the way downstairs These ribs are pillars that can be used to improve earthquake resistance. In the buildings of the Jianghu era, this type of intercourse is unlikely to occur. So this is a very valuable usage example Follow the tour route to the exhibition area Himeji Castle overall model Starting in 1956, it took 8 years Perform Showa overhaul Dismantled the entire castle and rebuilt it A model of the castle structure built at that time Half a century after the Showa overhaul ended A 6-year conservation and repair project started in 2009
Construction started in 2009 and completed in 2015 So it’s been almost 10 years now I don’t know when the construction will be done again next time Wow, this picture is so scary. This is the blower. Be careful not to touch it.
Otherwise, the head may not be saved I think the stairs inside the castle are a bit difficult to walk up. I think of the time I used to go to the Osaka Castle keep Just take the stairs inside Maybe it’s because I didn’t walk well enough and got twisted Then my knee hurt Remembered I was lame for several months at that time From here you can clearly see the lattice bay windows on the second floor. The road ahead is the road we just walked. Ahead is Himeji Station No wonder it has anti-slip mats on the floor I almost slipped just now Then it saves you There is a girl named Aju Then there is a person named Danshiro or Danshiro Want to marry her But she refused An angry Danshiro hid one of the 10 plates that Aki was responsible for. Framed her for losing the plate She was thrown into the well and silenced. From then on every night Aju’s sad voice of counting plates will be heard from the well. I shouldn’t be able to hear it now… Everything in the deepest part is coins Glittery Here is a list of famous names on display Let’s take a look inside The procession of daimyo is a procession of daimyo going to Edo Castle to attend the ceremony. They used to walk from Himeji Castle to Edo Castle It will take 19 days to go there. And it costs 170 million yen Walk an average of 36 kilometers a day So tired Very interesting diagram of the procession of famous names We even eat prunes covered in sugar for breakfast We just walked straight from Himeji Station Come to Himeji Castle Let’s go to Hokoen Garden later. Isn’t this the stage just now? This should be some kind of event Go to Nishinomaru and have a look Nishinomaru was once the residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu’s granddaughter Senhime The view of Himeji Castle from here is great Next we go to Hokoen Garden Go out through the Otemon gate you just walked in from. Then go to the side Stayed in there for almost two hours Walk 200 meters from Himeji Castle Gate The weather is getting worse It’s so beautiful when there are maple leaves here The entrance ticket to Hokoen Garden is 310 yen Then it’s a good deal for us. The common ticket includes 1,000 yen and Himeji Castle admission is only 1,050 yen! Follow the tour route There are tourist routes on both sides of it Decided to go left This is the restaurant inside Okoen Garden Its meal looks pretty good Kokoen is a Japanese garden built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Himeji City. It belongs to the pond circulation garden There are a total of 9 large and small gardens inside The total area is about 10,000 square meters It started to rain If there were no signage, you might get lost. There are many plants grown in the Edo period in the seedling garden. There is a tea room here Drink tea here epiphyllum fruit This is 700 yuan Flowing patio with gentle flowing water You can’t go in with shoes on. No wonder it’s so clean The name Haokoen comes from The Sakai clan school “Hokodo” near the entrance This area surrounded by red This is the original appearance of Kokoen Garden
Did he knock down these facilities and make them a garden? Make this big garden Garden of mountains and springs You have to take off your shoes before entering the pavilion here. Bamboo Garden Carp here Each one is fatter than the other Each one is so big Our ticket price should include some carp feed money Let’s walk back to the station There are many shops opposite Himeji Castle These are the shops in Jiaolaowuji Park There are many souvenir shops and restaurants Famous conger eel rice Conger rice (lunchbox) in Himeji seems to be famous We want to buy a store opposite the station I want to buy it and take it back to the hotel for dinner. We were just opposite Himeji Castle I’ve also seen some for sale. There seem to be quite a few stores selling it here. We arrived at the restaurant where we wanted to eat conger eel rice. Opposite is Himeji Station It has ordinary and small ones It smells so good inside The shelf life is until 11pm today Please finish eating as soon as possible I bought two conger eel rice We took the 4:31 bus to the temple Tomorrow we will go to the ruins of Takeda Castle, known as the “Castle in the Sky” early in the morning. First, take the JR Bodan Line from Himeji to the temple. Continue the broadcast in front of the temple but the line goes to Hotan Mountain Check into a hotel near Hotanshan Station I hope I can see the spectacular sea of clouds tomorrow Thank you for watching until the end. See you in the next video.
