ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2025年10月に長崎県島原市にある「大三東駅」に行きました。
・大三東(おおみさき)駅
島原鉄道 大三東駅は、「日本一海に近い駅」の一つです。
屋根も柵もない開放的なホームからは一面に広がる有明海を眺めることができ、干満の差が日本一大きい海が作り出す遠浅の干潟が美しい砂模様を描きます。
駅舎には、「幸せの黄色いハンカチ」のガチャガチャが設置してあり、旅の思い出に、願い事や大切な人へのメッセージなどを黄色いハンカチに書いて幸せ祈願することができます。
大三東駅には駐車場がないため、島原鉄道をご利用ください。
・しまてつカフェトレイン
列車内でそこでしか味わえない地元のグルメやスイーツを楽しみながら島原へ運行するローカル鉄道の旅。
島原半島ののどかな風景と心をこめて手作りした空間で親しみやすさが魅力の“しまてつ”の観光列車です。
運行駅：諫早駅→島原駅(完全予約制です。)
料金 大人：7,000円、小学生：3,500円、小学生未満：無料
帰りの島原駅→諫早駅の切符も含まれます。(翌日まで有効)
諫早駅、島原駅での駐車場も無料です。
特典：「島原城」と「湧水庭園四明荘」の入場券。

I’d like to introduce some places I visited on a whim.
In October 2025, I visited Daisanto Station in Shimabara City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
・Daisanto Station
Shimabara Railway Daisanto Station is one of the stations closest to the sea in Japan.
From the open platform, without a roof or fence, you can view the expansive Ariake Sea. The shallow tidal flats, created by the ocean’s largest tidal range in Japan, create beautiful sand patterns.
In the station building, there is a “Yellow Handkerchief of Happiness” gachapon machine. As a memento of your trip, you can write your wishes or messages to loved ones on the yellow handkerchief and pray for happiness.
There is no parking lot at Daisanto Station, so please use the Shimabara Railway.
・Shimatetsu Cafe Train
Journey on a local train to Shimabara, enjoying local cuisine and sweets that can only be found on board.
The Shimatetsu sightseeing train boasts a charming atmosphere, featuring the idyllic scenery of the Shimabara Peninsula and a lovingly crafted space.
Operating Station: Isahaya Station → Shimabara Station (Reservations Required)
Fare: Adults: ¥7,000, Elementary School Students: ¥3,500, Children under Elementary School: Free
A return ticket from Shimabara Station to Isahaya Station is included. (Valid until the next day)
Parking is also free at Isahaya Station and Shimabara Station.
Bonus: Admission tickets to Shimabara Castle and Shimeiso Spring Garden.
