⭕️国道243号（別海→標茶）｜夕陽に向かって走る道⭕️
北海道の東部、別海町から標茶町へ続く国道243号は、約60kmにわたって広い牧草地の中を走る道です。まっすぐに伸びる区間が多く、どこまでも続く空と大地が広がります。
道沿いには牛の放牧地や農場、時おり見える小さな集落があり、静かな北海道らしい風景が続きます。
交通量も少なく、風の音とエンジンの音だけが聞こえる穏やかなドライブが楽しめます。
おすすめの時間帯は夕方。夕陽に向かって走ると、道全体がオレンジ色に染まり、遠くまで続く一本道が美しく輝きます。
終点の標茶町は釧路湿原にも近く、時間があれば湿原展望台や散策路にも立ち寄ることができます。日が沈む頃の空と大地のコントラストが印象的な、静かな北海道のドライブコースです。
⭕️ National Route 243 (Betsukai → Shibecha)⭕️
National Route 243 runs about 60 kilometers from Betsukai to Shibecha in eastern Hokkaido.
The road passes through wide open farmland, with long straight stretches and endless views of sky and fields.
Along the way, you’ll see grazing cattle, small farms, and quiet rural towns.
Traffic is light, and the drive feels calm, with only the sound of the wind and the engine around you.
The best time to drive is in the evening.
Heading toward the setting sun, the road glows in warm orange light, and the straight line ahead seems to fade into the horizon.
Shibecha is close to the Kushiro Wetlands, so you can visit the observation points or walking trails nearby.
It’s a peaceful route where you can feel the quiet and space of Hokkaido.
