Horses usually live in small herds. Before you can get them together, you need to get to know them properly. And how does a fight between horses end? Usually, she warns them first, then stands tall, like a lion. Then, if they don’t understand her language, she hits the ground, and if they don’t back away and still invade her living space, then she can rear up with her front legs. A warning. When she needs to make it clear that someone is invading her space and therefore overdoing it, they usually turn around on their rears and make a kicking gesture. The kick comes precisely in the most extreme situations where there’s a real lack of respect, and after a delightful chat from which I learned so much, because I’m very ignorant on the subject, the bike, loaded as always, is ready to set off northwest because our intention is to get closer to the Arpini Parsi. We’re taking our first steps in the internationally renowned and culturally recognized Monferrato Langhe and Roero area, also recognized by UNESCO, located between the Ligurian Apennines and the Po River. The city of Alessandria, birthplace of Umberto Eco, is among the many to have worn an Alessandria product that has become famous around the world. We are, in fact, in the hometown of Borsalino, a company founded in 1857. We enter the province of Asti. Within 10 kilometers, the landscape has changed radically, slightly hilly, but above all with a few curves. We’re approaching an important city, home to both white and black gold. White for the famous and prized white truffle, black for the unforgettable and international Nutella. We made sure to pass right in front of the Ferrero factory, and we assure you, the smell is that of many, many open Nutella jars. The center of the city of a hundred towers offers unforgettable gastronomic experiences, appreciated worldwide and by everyone, absolutely everyone. The city that today flies the Italian flag boasts beautiful historic buildings, famous names of the Italian Risorgimento along its streets. It was, in fact, part of the Kingdom of Sardinia, to which a thousand ceded southern Italy. During Roman times, it was known as Alba Pompeia. Today, only ten of the 100 towers remain, and some say the symbols of the four evangelists can be seen throughout the city: the angel, the lion, the ox, and the eagle, whose initials spell Alba. Today, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, it inevitably responds to the name of Nutella, created in 1964 by Nat, meaning “hazelnut” in English, a perfect match for the Italian word “bella” (beautiful). We bid farewell to beautiful Alba and heartfelt hellos to the young people who recognized their big sister. It was a tremendous pleasure for us. Now we’ll know who writes greetings from Alba. We’re heading into the heart of the Langhe. Grinzan and Cavour, just entered. And the castle right above us, which belonged to several noble families, including the very well-known Benzo di Cavour family. In fact, Camillo Benzo, Count of Cavour, lived here, and also administered the area for a long time as mayor of Grinzane, [Music] twinned with Canos di Puglia. Tonio, did I say it right or wrong? Holy shit. [Music] And under hazelnut trees. [Music] This time too, I think I took a tertiary road because it had a 25% gradient at the beginning, and this road is closed from November 15th to April 15th. The care of these hills is how man has adapted the land to the pleasures of life. [Music] We have reached the main road. We should have reached the castle of Serralunga d’Alba. [Music] October is approaching, or maybe September, we’re not sure when the grape harvest normally takes place here. And maybe you can raise a toast in our face. And we toast with you. [Music] As soon as you enter the territory of La Morra, yet another UNESCO municipality. La Morra is considered the municipality with the most beautiful views of the Langhe. We wanted to check it out, we reached almost the top and as you can see here on the right, we have no view, but above all, it’s 4°C cooler. Once we reach the top, [Music] we’re in Barolo. [Music] [Applause] [Music] 16 km to go. The sun is still high above the horizon. To our left, but also in the distance, we can begin to see the Alps. The temperature is dropping slightly because we’re at 32°C at 7:29 pm. If we go check, we’re 606 m above sea level. This should be it. Here it is. It should have a space for the motorcycles. Now let’s go ask. We’ve arrived. Very trivial information, but very important for motorcyclists. You see this 1 m wide door is precisely designed to fit our motorcycles with the panniers inside. It’s a spectacular day meteorologically speaking, which is crucial because we’re going on a crazy circular route . Some space-time references from here: Droero is 65 km to the Colle della Lombarda. Draconerium, the ancient name for Dronero, is the gateway to the Maira Valley, one of the Italian Occitan valleys, a historical-cultural classification shared by populations from southern France, a very small part of Spain, and indeed some Italian valleys. We’re in the province of Cunio, considered the granary of the Savoy. We’re heading toward the Stura Valley, another of the Occitan valleys that will take us to the border with France. [Music] De Monte plays in the background, but we have to get to Vinadio, a crossroads for going to the Lombardy or to the Maddalena. So our circular tour starts right from Vinadio. We say goodbye to Fabio, who came to visit us because he was on his motorbike right here in Demonte. Happy camping to him and good luck on the road. It’s very elegant and frescoed. Fabio recommended a fantastic ice cream shop that we’re now looking for. If he’s watching this video, he’ll say, “Over there, over there.” Who knows if, on his way out yesterday, he enjoyed the ice cream instead of his friend’s pasta. We’re in Vinadio, home to Forte Albertino, a futuristic construction for the time in terms of military engineering and architecture, commissioned by Carlo Alberto between 1834 and 1847. Look here to the left, 400 meters for the Lombard road. The loop route begins right from this point, and we’ll immediately begin this serpentine. For us, it’s the first time we’ve been told to be careful because the road is very narrow with two bikes loaded. Let’s see if the information we’ve received corresponds to reality. We try to stay in our lane, even though there’s only one lane here. We also take the hairpin bends in second gear. This can be done. Let’s shift into first. [Music] It’s practically a road meant to be done in first gear. [Music] I don’t you are here [Music] I don’t know if I [Music] to [Music] me, the second part has become a little narrower, but above all it’s slightly undulating. Obviously, there’s not much of the fun of riding a motorcycle because the hairpin bends are so tight and, I repeat, the asphalt isn’t very pleasant. But if we look around, come on, then see if two cars pass each other, let’s say they pass by at a glance. We ‘ll go with another car, let’s see if this one will let us through [Music] [Music]
[Music] What we see up there should be the sanctuary of Sant’Anna, located at 2035 m above sea level. Built to welcome wayfarers passing through these parts coming from Provence. Today it is the highest sanctuary in Europe accessible by car. The slopes are beautiful, they look like brush strokes. What fascinates me are the people who thought of designing and building this road. That is, when nothing else existed yet, you have to decide where to pass. Let’s say that often they were also dictated by the survival of the population, sometimes by military reasons. Then personally, when I see these descents of rocks and the road that cuts across the passage, I want to slow down and enjoy the view. In any case, the highest point is over there. Then here, where the rock takes over, I think we could give a good lot to this pass. In my opinion, Italy never goes below lot. A very short break to admire the view and listen to the cowbells ringing. We’re at 2351 m. The chill is starting to make itself felt, but it’s nice. Let’s stock up. Now we could do some really powerful off-roading, But today we have a long way to go, so we continue towards Isola 2000. We leave the province of Cunio and Italy behind us and enter French territory. [Music] The other side is also quite winding, but the asphalt is in really good condition and after not even 4-5 hairpin bends we arrive at Isola 2000. The polling station is in operation. Among other things, the road connecting France and Italy is fairly new. Until 1947, in fact, this area belonged to Italy and there was no real connection, built instead in 1971 by France. Constructions that in our opinion could have been done differently, perhaps too modern, seem to clash with the surrounding environment, not all of them obviously. But aside from this small detail, now we descend again because we will go to Col della Bonette, 56 km. In 3 minutes flat, we have climbed to 27°. Alpine passes are useful for tempering us. [Music] The Latiné River, which gives its name to the valley, and we’re on the Bonette route. In front of us is Sente Zien de Tiné, one of the deors of this little village in the Provençal region. [Applause] For God’s sake, let’s go back up because it’s 32°C here too, and we’ll take advantage of it to race with the new 13 GS Adventure. What better opportunity to test the heart of the Bonetta? [Music] We start from here, 20 km. The climb to the top doesn’t bode well, but it shouldn’t rain today. [Music] Stop for a regenerative break. The weather has suddenly changed, in fact it’s raining a bit, but we don’t give a damn because we’re incredibly hungry. It’s the temperature changes’ fault . We bought a pan bagnà, onion, egg, tomato, tuna, pepper, light, very light, it digests in 10 minutes. Take this and do the Bonette route. One wheel for two people. And finally we went inside the restaurant because unfortunately it’s raining outside. To console ourselves, we had coffee and a piece of cake, but the pig took the cake. Look at the happiness. Almond and blueberry cake, and in the end we decided on rain gear because we’re at 100, we need to go up to 2008. If math isn’t an opinion, it’s always worse above. On this side it seems to be opening up while on the other side it’s a bit blacker. [Music] Anyway, two hours ago we were at 32-33°, now we’re at 11. These temperature variations are good for you. Look, look, look. A marmot. They were showering and nothing, we arrived, they had to go back. But can you tell us anything about these houses? No, the history of these houses is actually new to us. Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch. Four less history. abandoned. And in fact the remains are those of Cam de Fursh, a high mountain military barracks built in 1888. Restored ruins, now open to visitors. [Music] A nod to the Irish landscape, a tribute to last year’s trip and to those who took that northern route this year. 10°C at the moment. From the temperature, you can tell we’re on one of the highest roads in Europe. We still have to climb up there, especially since we’re at 2698. Here it almost seems of volcanic origin. [Music] The pass is 200710, then we descend, while this little bit here should take us to 2008. Here is the highest point, 2803. [Music] Colabonet. [Music] How much patience I have to have. Look when Sara comes down. But my name isn’t written there. Lots and lots of patience. And anyway, we stopped here at the Bonette call and this is the view. [Music] A beautiful thing here, the summit of Punetta 2802 m, a gentleman approaches, I had recognized us on YouTube, but the beautiful thing is that these gentlemen are from Valencia, they watch our videos, they watch my rants, they are very good people and they have taken all the difference the 2K 3K, three laminas, it’s not hard, elastic, but there is a peculiarity. One of them is Argentinian by birth, he has lived in Spain for 25 years now, but he is from Corrientes. And you know where Corrientes is. We took you to Corrientes. A pleasure. Francesco at this moment has abandoned me because the two Spanish guys told him “Yes, we have 1003 adventure” and nothing, guys, he had to run away. We begin the descent, we who wanted to take off the rain gear because We’d seen a bit of sun, then we rounded the bend, look down. But we changed our gloves because the temperature had risen to 16°C with the sun. You always have to look at the other side of the coin, and you can’t just look at heads, you have to look at tails too, you have to look at me too, your cross, your cross, which, among other things, is getting old, but we have to admit we’re talking about a solid wood cross. Wow, today the good little angel passed by, or as my grandmother used to say, be careful, he passes by the little angel and says amen, nothing, and then there’s no going back. We’re trying to bring European content for this fourth European season, and if you like our content, like it, leave a comment, and hop on your bike. Maybe wait ten minutes or so before getting on your bike because, look, down there, we’ll take care of fetching water for you. So, be ready? Either put on your rain jacket or grab an umbrella from the couch, but be prepared. And Stan Listos, are you ready? Seeing the Spanish made us feel a bit like we were back in South America, and then we go back to speaking Spanish, we don’t even speak it well. We’re lame with both Spanish and English. We don’t even speak French, which I studied for 13 years. Ridiculous. Why do we want to say anything in Italian? [Music] The road down is beautiful anyway. I prefer the Bonette to the Colle della Lombarda. Then maybe some comments, tell me your point of view. [Music] Stop quickly to put your Goretex gloves back on and off we go. Listen to how pleasant the sound of the rain on the visor is. We also have two motorcyclist friends up front who rightly slowed down because you can never trust the rain. [Music] I have to be honest, this cool air is very refreshing. Yes, but these are the storms that can also mark the end of summer. Sara said it with a hint of melancholy. When the summer season ends, something always dies inside me, even though I can’t handle the heat very well these days. Usually, you can’t handle the heat as you get older. It’s old age. There’s nothing to laugh about, especially for you. I was already born old. However, if it weren’t for the rain, the wet asphalt, and a few hairpin bends, this side of the Bonette, from my point of view, is very rideable by motorbike, in the sense that it’s truly pleasant. It’s stopped raining, so remove umbrellas and rain gear from the sofa. Cuneo and Col de l’Arche, which the French would call Colle della Maddalena. Now I’ve also loosened the sleeves of the antoggia, so a little air can get in. We’re there, we’re at 1960 m and we’re on Colle della Maldalena. Let’s get the ball rolling, that is, the 20 hairpin bends that follow one another. [Music] Down at Col della Maddalena, we ended up at a campervan rave. A city within a city. It’s also true that on Ferragosto, it’s also true that all of us, including ourselves, sought out the cool air. This time we still have 66 km, 1 and 12, arrival time 19:37. So, as always, we arrive slightly before dinner. [Music] We made it because here is the intersection for Colle della Lombarda where we were about 6/7 hours ago. Having said that, we teleport to the structure. We go and park the bike in the back, so if you come around here you can get an idea of the context and where you’ll park the bike. We arrived together with them. [Music] Come here. At least you can go out whenever you want. [Music] Going for love, baby. Going for love for love. I bet you get it right, but don’t get me wrong. Say what say what you got say. Say what you got say. Go like a satellite just go like a star. Say what say what you got say. Say what you got say. Take it to the big Take it all. Go for and glory. Go go B for love go for love we going for love [Music] he the Go!

Grazieeeeee
…"giretto" sfiziosissimo e commenti sempre all'altezza!!!

Incantevole, unica.
Buona strada❤
Quanti lati positivi a guardare ogni vostro video.
Come sempre ci avete portato in luoghi spettacolari, siete Fantastici ❤️❤️
Perfetto accento !!! GRANDE SARAAA❤ QEEN OF LANGUAGESSSSSSSSS😂😂😂
.. Bonette fatto 4 volte in tutte le salse..posti fantastici💪💪
Però una sosta a Barolo…. ❤
