今回の旅先は奈良県五條市にある寄足山 生蓮寺（よらせざん しょうれんじ）です。
たくさんのてるてる坊主と蓮の花が出迎えてくれるかわいいお寺で歴史も古く創建から約1200年だそうです。平安初期に皇后様の安産祈願のために創建され、その後空海上人が生蓮寺で旅の道中の晴れ祈願をされたことから安産祈願、晴れ祈願で有名です。

Our destination this time is Yorasezan Shorenji Temple in Gojo City, Nara Prefecture.
This cute temple, where you’ll be greeted by many rain-loving dolls and lotus flowers, has a long history, dating back around 1,200 years. It was originally built in the early Heian period to pray for the Empress’ safe childbirth, and later became famous for prayers for safe childbirth and good weather, as Kukai later prayed for good weather on his journeys at Shorenji Temple.
