【佐渡島観光】神秘的な絶景!佐渡島のグルメと観光を巡るドライブ旅行!佐渡島旅行vlog|北沢浮遊選鉱場跡|尖閣湾|大佐渡スカイライン
The road leading to the ocean feels like a gateway to another world. The driving course overhead is breathtaking. The view from the bridge is breathtaking. The creative cuisine is amazing. The sushi is the best value for money . Is this like Earth a thousand years in the future ?! The view I saw at the end of the steep mountain road ? Good morning! This is bien. I’m currently on Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture . This is the second day of my 3-day, 2-night trip to Sado Island. Today, I’m mainly sightseeing in the Aikawa area . From morning to night , I’ll be sharing my Sado Island cuisine and sightseeing experiences. I was just touring the Sado Gold Mine (please check it out in the description section). There are a few other tourist spots around the area , but I decided to have an early lunch at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. They open at 10:30, so I’m heading there just before 10:00 and aiming to get there right when they open. After eating sushi, I’ll head back to the area and check out some of the other view spots. The weather looks good today, so I’ll call it a coastal drive, huh ? This road is straight and amazing . Am I on the right road? The rental car navigation system is a little scary. I can’t believe this is the road to a restaurant. But the scenery is amazing. The beautiful Japanese countryside spreads out before me. It’s amazing. I felt like this road was clearly heading in the wrong direction, but since it was my first time here, I followed the navigation route. Why did it guide me to this route ? Wait, is this navigation system bugged?! The navigation system is buggy and my destination has been set to a place I don’t recognise. Oh no, this is bad. It was just so creepy. Why did I get guided down this road? It’s so scary, it’s like a true horror story. I was led down a dead-end route in the mountains and I was seriously panicked, but then we arrived. Today’s lunch is here at Benkei, where I had sushi. There was a bit of trouble on the way but we managed to arrive at 10:30am and we ate at a counter seat. This is the menu. This is gunkan . The cheapest one is 150 yen. Here is nigiri. The cheapest nigiri are also 150 yen. The most expensive are blackthroat seaperch and otoro at 770 yen. There are a lot of sushi dishes in the 200-300 yen range so it’s pretty cheap isn’t it? There is no touch panel to order, just fill out an order form like this and hand it in. Our order has arrived. First of all we will have the horse mackerel. The service is pretty quick, it looks like we’ll be able to eat without having to wait too long . Now it’s time to try it. It’s quite tasty. Also, the rice is really good, is this blackthroat seaperch? It’s better to get the blackthroat seaperch that comes floating by and order it so you can eat it fresh, but grabbing the sushi that comes floating by and eating it is also one of the joys of a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. What was this? The seared yellowtail with wasabi was amazing lol there’s so much lol the amount of wasabi is incredible it really hits you hard it hurts your nose but the yellowtail is delicious Next we have the high-quality blackthroat seaperch sushi . The blackthroat seaperch is so delicious I think there is probably rice in each of the sushi places but the rice in the front was really tasty It was basically evenly distributed The horse mackerel rice was also good The negitoro was also good I walked quite a bit this morning so I think I’ll be able to eat a lot Next we have the salmon I was really looking forward to it There was something really tasty but I forget lol This is flounder The right is the flounder and the left is the flatfish On the right is flounder fin. The salmon was delicious, but this flounder was also delicious. Maybe I’m getting older or something, but my tastes have changed, or maybe my preferences have changed, but recently I ‘ve started to like shiny fish, yellowtail, sea bream, and other dishes like that. This is flounder fin. The waiter recommended it, so I ordered it. Next, sanma ! I ordered sanma because I thought it was unusual, but it was even more delicious than horse mackerel (it’s even better than it looks). I also had black tiger shrimp. It was thick and delicious , and the moment I bit into it, the shrimp flavor spread. Arabachime . What is arabachime? Arabachime (is it called that in Sado?) is apparently tanuki rockfish. Red shrimp. It was past 11 hours, and the place was full in no time. I had a second helping of horse mackerel. Everything was equally delicious. This was the best! Or rather, everything was delicious. And finally , sardines. Horse mackerel, sanma, and sardines are all great! The sardines were also delicious. They even surpassed horse mackerel. I guess my tastes have changed. Wow, it was so delicious , it’s amazing haha. Thank you for the meal. I ate a lot. Even so, it was about 8,500 yen for two people. If you come at 10:30, you can eat right away without waiting, but if you go past 11:20 or 11:00, it fills up in no time . I’ve eaten my fill of sushi, so I need to get some coffee to keep me awake. It’s really crowded. There are so many parking spaces, it looks like there’s space for a ton of cars. What time is it now? It’s 11:45 now, just before noon, and the sun is rising. I ‘ll head to the area where Kanayama is, go around there again, then head north along the coast , climb the mountain, and go through the skyline. I’ll go sightseeing in a counterclockwise direction . The sea is so blue. What can I say about this part of Sado Island? Sado Island is huge, isn’t it? Actually, today I was thinking of going straight to the northernmost point, what was it called, Futatsugame, by walking along the western coast, but it’s just too far. It would take about an hour and a half to two hours by car without stopping, and then I’d have to come back to the hotel area, but I wouldn’t make it in time for my dinner reservation, so today I’ll focus on the western side, and tomorrow morning I’ll head to the northernmost point first thing . Ah, this is it! There’s already a sign for Futatsugame here. What’s this? : The parking lot is huge Aikawa Tourist Information Center Kirarium Sado We went to Sado Gold Mine first, so voila! Sato Aikawa Historic Site Walking Map Coming out from the seaside and looking at it like this, this area alone would take up a whole day If we do a proper sightseeing tour, we next went to the remains of the Kitazawa Flotation Plant , Sado Island’s Laputa It looks spacious when viewed from a distance and is quite mysterious when viewed from above Is there a cafe here ? It’s open here There is a cafe and there are also seats like swings, like chairs I wonder if this is a photo spot I’m here and this too is amazing It’s bigger than I thought It’s actually really big when you come here This is mined at the Aikawa Gold and Silver Mine This unique atmosphere is just like Laputa and has become a hot topic on social media Flotation is a method of collecting useful minerals by throwing finely divided minerals into a tank with chemicals such as surfactants , creating bubbles and separating the sinking minerals This flotation was apparently a new German technology, and it was here that gold and silver were successfully extracted. It was hailed as the best in the Orient, able to process over 50,000 tons of ore in a month. The Colosseum-like, stadium-shaped building you see in the background is called a thickener. It’s a facility for separating ore and water. Excavations have revealed concrete walls, floors, and machine bases. We’ve discovered something! There’s a huge beehive here! It’s huge ! Oh, that’s nice! The view is also amazing! You can park your car here too. In fact, as you get closer, you’ll see the rules and etiquette for visitors : Be careful of bees and snakes! Then , it’s a spectacular view spot, or rather, we’re heading there! Wow , amazing ! There should be a parking lot around here ! Ah, amazing! Right in front of me ! There’s a parking lot right in front of me! What is this? What is this? Ah , amazing! Isn’t the rock a different color? It’s a greenish color ! We ‘ve arrived! Where is Benkei’s Scissors Rock ? Amazing! Benkei’s Scissors Rock is over here! I wonder if I have to climb the stairs ? The rocks are a different color only here! Aikawa Mine Ruins! Saemon Cemetery, Chinme City ! Wow, this is amazing! It reflects light so brightly, it’s a magnificent and large tomb. This tomb is the cemetery of Saemon, Chizume City. He is said to have been a military commander from the Momoyama to early Edo periods, and was active as a Tokugawa vassal in the Battle of Sekigahara. After being appointed as the magistrate of Sado in 1618, he left his name behind by working hard to restore the gold and silver mines. This tomb was built in 1845 to commemorate his achievements. To get to Sashimi Rock, you have to climb these stairs . Oh, that’s it? You can see it from halfway up the stairs ! : Oh no , the ground was muddy and I almost fell lol. This looks like the place . Amazing . Amazing . It was in a place like this. What’s going on? It ‘s just the right width, like I might fall at any moment. It’s like a path, so I wonder if you can walk underneath. To give a very rough explanation , Benkei’s Scissors Rock is said to be a legendary place where , long ago, Sado Benkei, Benkei, and an ogre had a strength contest, and the rock that Benkei threw flew all the way here. There have been so many people there , so I guess a lot of people climb up there and take commemorative photos. It’s so cool , so cool . It’s like CG , how did it come to be like this? I’m glad I was able to come to Benkei’s Scissors Rock on a sunny day . I’m heading to the next spot. Seriously, this is the west side of Sado Island, I guess. The scenery along the coast was amazing . Next, there was a bridge with an unusual shape, so I’ll go take a look. Wow , so amazing. Here I’ve come to an area with a completely different atmosphere. What an amazing view. It looks beautiful over a wide area. Wow, it’s great. I’m really glad it ‘s sunny. I found a place that looks like a view spot. I found a parking space. It’s great. Going from view spot to view spot like this is really unique. I think the western part of almost every island has the best view . Wow, what ‘s this? Orange flowers are blooming ! There it is . It’s a bridge , more round than I thought . It’s quite big. It’s like an observation deck and bridge at the same time . I’ve arrived at Himezu Bridge fishing port. It ‘s a hidden gem, isn’t it? This is a tourist spot on Sado Island. If you google it, you’ll find it’s quite a minor, but mysterious spot, isn’t it? But there are toilets and such, so I wonder if it’s a famous place (I think it was a famous spot lol) There’s a parking lot here too, huh? Wow, scary ! We arrived and the sea is right there . It’s so beautiful , emerald green, it’s the kind of port that often appears in movies. This is Himezu Bridge . It was a bigger bridge than I imagined, a very unique bridge . It’s rare, stretching out like this , it’s the first time I’ve seen a bridge like this on the sea at a fishing port. The west breakwater is open from 10am to 4pm. When you compare it with other people like this, it’s quite large. Let’s try crossing Himezu Bridge right away. It’s not a steep staircase, it’s a slope that’s uphill, and it’s quite hard on your legs. This is amazing , the view is amazing , isn’t this really a scenic spot? If you go a little further north there is the famous Senkaku Bay, which I’ll go to next, and it ‘s pretty amazing too. There are also amazing benches . Wow, the sea is so beautiful. Ah , the sea is even more beautiful than I thought it would be. It was even more beautiful than I imagined. The place I passed by this morning was a beach, a swimming spot, and maybe because the waves are rough around there the sea was brown and murky, but this side is really beautiful. Along with the beautiful scenery of Sado Island, please subscribe to my channel and rate it highly. Thank you. The view on the other side looks like this. The view on this side is also great. It’s one of the scenic spots I want to go to on a sunny day. I wonder if there ‘s a staircase continuing over there. Amazing, like it used to be possible to go through. But on this side, it’s fenced off beyond this point, so it looks like you can’t go any further. Wow, it’s nice , the view is beautiful. It looks even prettier from this side. Isn’t this really nice? Who knew there was a place like this? Apparently it’s also a popular fishing spot. Next, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive and head to the popular spot, Senkaku Bay. I wonder if we can get there from this coastal road. My navigation system messed up earlier, so I’m scared. Amazing. This road is amazing . With mountains in the background and a straight road, beautiful rural scenery spreads out on both sides. It feels like my summer vacation. I could n’t help but stare blankly . Oh! There’s a sign. Amazing! Is this the parking lot from here? I wonder if it gets so crowded that it fills up? There’s a cafe and such, and since I’ve arrived and my current location is here, I went in. The fee is 500 yen per adult . As soon as I entered, there were four photo spots: a giant squid, a tub boat, or Sadogashiman. Your name, your name. It ‘s not from a recent anime movie, but apparently from an earlier time. Wow, it’s amazing! The view is already beautiful. It seems it only takes 5 minutes to get to the observation deck. There are also sightseeing boats, but the waves are rough today so they’ve been cancelled? They’re not operating. That’s right. To get to the observation deck, cross the bridge up ahead. Senkaku Bay Underwater Park See-through boat. How do I get there? You can pass through from the left side. Oh! This one? Apparently you can enter the Digital Ocean Museum through this gap , but let’s go to the observation deck first. I thought it was some kind of axe monument, but it was actually a speaker. From here, it just looks like an axe. We cross that bridge, which is a lighthouse. When the boat is running, if you go down the stairs on the left, I think that’s the sightseeing boat terminal. There is apparently an observation deck just beyond the bridge, and the view is already amazing. What an amazing view. The waves are also impressive over here. Rough Senkaku Bay, Ageshima. There is Ebisu ‘s Tsubo Torii gate, where you pray for safety. It’s hot, but even monaka ice cream. Monaka ice cream Koshihikari looks delicious. It ‘s in the shade here! 海がきたまう …楽しみです English: There’s a roof. This is the observation deck. It’s really cool. It’s completely different. Amazing . Wow, amazing. Wow , the waves here are insane. I think the best spot for photos, or rather the best view spot , is the place without a roof. A scenic cliff scenic spot. The secret story behind the birth of Senkaku Bay. Senkaku Bay refers to the five bays, from Scenes 1 to 5. They are sheer cliffs about 20m high and 4km long. The extent is incredible. This is it . Amazing. Wow, amazing waves. The view is great and the extent is wide, so it was easy to take commemorative photos like this. Dungeon. A dungeon by the sea . Amazing over there. Wow, the waves are scary . It feels like you’re being sucked in. There was also a little promenade near the bridge that is connected to this bridge. It felt like we came all the way around. It was over in a flash. You can also go to the cave over there . They said it was projection mapping. Shall we go for a bit? It certainly looks dangerous if we set sail on a boat. No, just for now. I want to go into the gold mine cave. I want to go into the mine shaft. I want to experience that cold again (it’s hot outside). Ah, there ‘s a bit of water dripping. Arrived from above Experienced on a tub boat If you’re alone, you’ll lose your balance and fall off It feels like you’re going to fall over It’s so difficult to row on this It doesn’t look like it’s going to move at all I can’t row at all lol After this, two people got on and I tried rowing too, but it was really difficult It was hot so we had an ice cream break Vanilla and Ann Apparently this ice cream is made with Koshihikari rice from Niigata Now it’s time to eat! Senkaku Bay was fun . Next, I ‘m heading back towards Sado Gold Mine, this time over the mountain and heading towards the hotel. There’s a road called the O-Sado Skyline , or should I say mountain path? I ‘ll go through the mountaintop area and apparently there’s an observation deck there, so I’ll go around to the hotel area and it will take about an hour. The navigation system says it’s 20km, but it will actually take an hour. It may be a really rough mountain road. I wonder what the view is like. It’s just a tiring mountain road to drive on, and if the view is not so good it would be quite a disappointment, but you won’t know until you go there, so I’ll go and see what it’s like . I wonder if Sado Gold Mine is located if I turn left here. Beyond the gold mine there is the O-Sado Skyline sign. The O-Sado Skyline climbs to an altitude of about 900m from here , and it’s about a 15km climb, so considering it ‘s quite a long journey, I wonder what kind of view awaits me. With it called the Skyline, does it sound like a scenic driving course? I can’t help but think that, but I wonder how it will be This time the rental car is a Wagon R so it’s quite difficult to climb We pass through Sado Gold Mine Considering the commemorative photo, I think it’s best to go to Sado Gold Mine first thing in the morning It opens at 8am so I wonder if this is the O-Sado Skyline from here There’s a parking lot over here too I wonder if it gets full over there (it looks like it might be so crowded you wouldn’t be able to walk through the tunnels lol) It’s so wide From here onwards it’s an area I’m passing through for the first time This time there are no traffic restrictions or anything Watch out for falling rocks and sharp curves I wonder if
it’s quite narrow I don’t think there will be any oncoming cars Wow this is bad I ‘m not climbing at all !帰りました。 English : It’s quite steep. Well, it’s like the highest point, or the peak, and it’s about 10km from here. 10km like this is quite tough driving, especially if you have a kei car . I wish I could have rented a Yaris Cross or something but I didn’t have any . The road is wide so I don’t have to worry about oncoming traffic. However, the slope is steeper than I thought . It’s not a gradual climb, it’s just really steep. It feels like you’re climbing all at once. I wonder if there are separate lanes ? But even this is still quite mentally taxing . Wow, it’s a slope and a curve, this is dangerous . I can’t accelerate . I can’t accelerate at all . Well, in a sense you can climb safely but with every curve it takes away from me. Wow, wow, we’ve come to a really high place. Wow, amazing , the view was amazing. Right now the camera is only facing forward so that’s not clear, but we’ve gone another four or five kilometers from there and it’s 4.4km to the highest point . The road isn’t that narrow and we haven’t passed a single motorbike or car . No oncoming traffic ! I couldn’t believe it, there was an oncoming car ! It’s so rare, or rather, it was the first time I’d ever passed an oncoming car, and I felt a mysterious sense of security. Where is the parking lot 400 meters ahead? What is he talking about? Oh, a parking lot has appeared. Suddenly, wow ! Something ‘s happening . Should I take a break ? I’m tired. Round and round, I’ve been turning the wheel and I’m feeling dizzy. Let ‘s take a break and look at the scenery. Here we go. It feels like I’m looking at this from the west . Are there two observation decks here ? This is the highest point , but it’s a bit strange. Just like the reviews said, you can’t see much. You can’t get a clear view all the way to the back. You can tell we’ve come quite high up, it ‘s amazing , there are so many grasshoppers , look! They’re stabbing me in the butt. Is it spawning season now ? Are they laying eggs ? I’ve worked so hard to climb up, so I’d like a more open observation deck. Hey, aren’t we almost there? There should be the highest point , but there’s no sign or anything. Is this it? Is it this one? 942m above sea level This is the highest point We’ve arrived But it’s not an observation deck This isn’t really an observation deck so you can’t see much But still there’s a sense of accomplishment There’s something there Is there something there Do I have to climb up there Is it a mountain climbing course It’s cool at 942m above sea level The wind is quite cool It wasn’t particularly an observation deck Please subscribe to my channel Please like I discovered the community center from Sado Island’s 942m above sea level I wonder if this is also an observation deck? Ah Wow this might be the best observation deck today It looks like it has the best view Ah Wow That ‘s right, on Sado’s Route 530 If you look at the map, if you take the Skyline from the top right of the map of Sado Island it’s closer and easier to see You can get a quick view If you’re coming from the Sado Gold Mine it’s tough, especially in a light car It’s really tiring, but in the end the view is the most beautiful here! So maybe it’s better to enter from the north It will become a memory, but it’s beautiful. Surprisingly , I don’t think many people come here suddenly on their first trip to Sado Island . This is the rice fields, what is this flat area, it’s amazing, is that Ryotsu Port ? Well, over there is Niigata, they came by boat from over there, and this is probably the main Route 350. Sado Gold Mine is over there, I guess . Today’s drive was in the western area, we did some sightseeing along the coast , then we went down the mountain from here, and next there is a road called Toki Road in the rice fields, so we’ll go there. Apparently there is a photogenic spot at the back of Toki Road, so we’ll head there. The road on this side is really intense, the noise is terrible, the vibrations are terrible ! The rear, the rear, is terrible . Even with a low-power car, on the way back it’s all downhill so it’s much easier, I’m just pressing the brakes, not the accelerator once, the whole time I feel like I’m in a go-kart . It’s already 4pm! It’s early! We started sightseeing at 8am and before we knew it it was 4pm. We’re only about 850m away from the Skyline entrance. The scenery has changed quite a bit. From here on from the mountain road it’s 8km to Toki Road. Wow , it’s really easy to drive. I’ve already experienced that mountain road once , so it’s only 5km to my destination. If I turn right somewhere I’ll be on Toki Road, which is a really straight road. It ‘s a really peaceful road. I’d love to take a cold bath in a place like this and enjoy the fresh air . Wow, what an amazing road . Wow , this view is amazing too . This is quite a spectacular view. Amazing , amazing, it’s too spectacular . There are no cars coming from behind so let’s drive leisurely. It’s straight. Apparently there’s rice field art at the end . Is it like a photogenic spot? Amazing ! It’s really straight . I wonder if Toki Road starts from here. It’s really straight. Wow, it’s nice. If you’re going on a road trip you should definitely go through here. This place is amazing. This place is so interesting . Is the navigation system correct? What an amazing road! I found a sign! It seems you can see rice field art a short walk from here! There are lots of different kinds of grasshoppers than before ! What is
this rice field art ? Is it not this time of year? Maybe it ‘s something like a crop circle? Is it this? Ah, this is the viewpoint footprint mark. What is this? What does it look like? Oh , it’s easier to see through a camera. It must be 2025. Is this a parent and child crested ibis? Art that is easier to understand through a wide-angle lens on a camera . The view was much better than with the naked eye . Anyway, I’ve had a great time sightseeing today, so I’ll head back to the hotel for a break. Apparently there is an observation terrace on the hotel roof. This place has a spectacular view, or rather it feels like you can see it from a high vantage point , so let’s head to the restaurant for dinner. This is where we’ll be having dinner tonight. I wanted to make a reservation at another restaurant, but it was fully booked and I couldn’t get a reservation , so I decided to go here . Today’s restaurant is here . You can enjoy local fish from Sado and a la carte dishes . We’ll eat at the counter seats. There are also many creative dishes, so I’ll order a few that catch my eye. I can’t drink alcohol because of an allergy, so the local sake is like this. Amazing. Red snapper sashimi. Today’s recommendation. I ordered red snapper sashimi. Now it’s time to eat it for the first time. The texture and flavor were similar to Thai fish, and the texture was great. Wow, this was incredibly fresh and delicious. Sashimi is the best, it was gone in a flash . It was gone in a flash. I finished it all in under a minute. Next came the mentaiko and cheese omelet. It looked delicious. It’s good to eat a lot of dishes without having rice. At first glance, it looks like a regular omelet, but it was surprisingly delicious. If you come here, you should definitely try it. Amazing cheese and mentaiko . Amazing cheese. It’s so good! It was gone in an instant lol I don’t usually eat this kind of thing, but just thinking about it makes me salivate . It was so delicious I want to eat it again. Horse sashimi, horse sashimi , it was gone in an instant too. You can tell just by looking at it. This is definitely delicious. Maybe it would be better to add garlic too. Garlic and green onions are delicious on their own, but adding green onions and garlic makes it twice as delicious. Next came the homemade chicken nanban. Look at this tartar sauce and the color of this sauce underneath is amazing. Wow, this was also delicious . It was so delicious that I wanted to block out everything except my taste buds and concentrate on the flavor (I closed my eyes for a moment lol). The chicken nanban was seriously delicious. Next, I changed the genre a bit , because I had had a string of greasy foods, so adding this in between was really delicious. Next was the grilled stingray fin meat tofu , which I never thought I’d come all the way to Sado Island to eat meat tofu, but it was really delicious. 食べましたか、今日はみんな進化して欲しい 。 English: Well, it might be nice to just go around to famous restaurants like local gourmet restaurants, but it’s also delicious to eat at places like this local izakaya. The seasonings are different depending on the region, so maybe if you eat at a place like this , you can actually notice the differences in the food. I’m still going to eat some Zaru Soba noodles to finish off my meal. I suddenly had a craving for Zaru Soba noodles, so I’ll have some for the end of my meal. It’s delicious , really delicious . The texture was great too . It was so delicious that it was gone in an instant. Considering the efficiency of video editing, it might be a good idea to turn on the microphone and talk while eating, but when you think about the satisfaction of the meal, it’s best to just keep eating in silence. It’s already night now. Looking at this place alone, it looks a bit flashy. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal. It’s pitch black. Is this that thing from earlier ? The path to the rice fields? It’s so straight and dark, I can’t tell at all. Something seems to be coming out. After that, I did some shopping at the supermarket and fell into a deep sleep. And so, today, my second day on Sado Island I enjoyed the Aikawa area from morning to night. I enjoyed the drive along the western coast, the mystical scenery, and the sushi and creative cuisine. By the way, tomorrow I will be sightseeing in the northernmost area of Sado Island. Please subscribe and like! Thank you for watching.
