【マレーシア】ペナン島の水上集落
Hello everyone, this is Asumi Kumano who travels around the world.Today I came to Kranjetti, a floating village in Pennant, Malaysia. It looks like there is a house on the water. It really lives on the water. It’s the first time I’ve seen a house on the sea.Actually , it seems that there are Chinese people living in this house.Hold on, the bridge, it says it’s dangerous, but there’s a rule to go to the edge of the bridge.Or rather…Everyone has gone to the other side, so I’m going to go too. Oh, wait, there’s something like a scary sea snake swimming around. I feel like there’s a monster below. I wonder if anyone has fallen in. But the scenery is amazing. It’s scary. I’ve reached the end of the bridge that I said was scary. Look, I’ve really come to the edge. The wind is blowing and it feels good. It’s scary, so I went back a little. Next, I’m going to go to the upper part of the floating village that you can see over there. From here, I’m going to enter the floating village. It’s like a tourist spot. I wonder if it’s a tourist spot.Cute clothes. They’re cute.I’ve been wearing the same clothes for a long time, so there are a lot of people who want to get some new clothes. There are a lot more people than I expected, and it seems like it’s a very popular tourist spot. There are a lot of houses on the water, and you can see it over there. That’s what you can see at the back of this place. It’s pretty wide and there are a lot of cute windmills.I’ve come to the end of the bridge.I can see the bridge that connects Penang and the Malay Peninsula.I also crossed on this bridge. It’s really at the very back. There is a pier that is exclusive to the floating village, and it’s kind of amazing to be able to get a glimpse of people really living here.I could hear the sound of the waves from beneath my feet, and it was really soothing. When I passed through the back road, I saw the pier continuing in the back, which was so cool.I could see where I was earlier, and it was amazing.I could see the floating village that I was just on the other side next time.Yes , that’s why I introduced the water village. Of course, there was a house where I lived, but it felt like a tourist attraction. It’s close to the main street of George Town, so I think it’s worth a visit.Thank you for taking the time to look at this so far.It ‘s Asumi Kumano.Bye-bye.

Today I’m visiting the Clan Jetties in Penang, Malaysia!
It’s a unique floating village where Chinese families built wooden houses over the sea.
Each jetty belongs to a different family clan — like the Chew Jetty, which is the most famous.
People still live here, and the vibe is super local and nostalgic.
You’ll find cute shops, street food, and amazing sunset views too!
