[Music] Come on, guys. [Music] Okay, good job. [Music] [Music] We had like some people like exotic [Applause] looks like a hammer. Oh, I know it’s cold. Yeah, that’s miserably cold. On the way down, one gentleman couldn’t make it that down the hill and run up the hill. I don’t know how to do it. I would have bust. Uhoh. So you can see the the the foot of the elephant is like a sponge material. You see how everybody is like doing like this. This is a Oh, they were behind the bush. No, no, no. [Music] Everybody could That was pretty behind this big bush. We come back the same road. What did you see? [Music] Heat. Heat. They don’t lay all the way down. Okay. Is what they were telling us about similar. Yeah. Like big also sent. Oh, okay. Yeah. Different is also antelope. Yes. But they have the different names. So you going to uh Kenya and how long you been there for? Um Like you saw you saw them there. Yeah. Columbus. Yeah. You went to Mount Kimar or No. No. The blackfaced monkeys at the hostel I stayed at tried to get our breakfast. Oh, you have to sign a waiver on that one. Um, you know, say community. So, I’m going to be a guide. Uh, I’m going to give the show information of the Masai village. Face your phone. I’m going to address you like Mai, like a white Mai. And then after that we’re going to show the world come down for you. And then after wall come dance we’re going to show you the competition. So don’t worry I’m going to jump very high. And then after that we’re going to dance together to see the masai village. Going to show you how to make fire. We’re using traditional wood because we never use our benchmark in the shop. We use our traditional masai box. Then after that we’re going to show you inside of Masai house. Going to show you the way we are sleeping the way we are cooking inside. going to explain every single premise going to show the kindergart take many photos make video ask many questions and if you want to try to dance with them it’s okay so you’re so welcome guys okay so let us stay I am myself. I came three days ago. I’m a teacher. So I talked to a teacher in the children’s school. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. [Music] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Hallelujah. [Applause] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yeah, [Applause] [Applause] [Music] thank Countless [Music] bad. [Applause] Oh, you [Music] might Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hey boy. Hey. Hey. Hey. Okay. Very nice. Yeah. Okay. Nice. It’s a video. Okay. This is the way we are living. This is Masai Bulma and the meaning of Masai Bulma is a collection one family. So this is one family and my father is the chief of all community like a 10,000 Masai community. So I’m the son of the chief and right now I get a practice to become the chief. So maybe after a few days or few months I’m going to be the chief of the community like my father. So uh and the way noria I mean one man have more than one wife. For example my father 15 wife 40 children. So we are 56 together. So you look everybody here all we are brothers and sisters one father different mothers. And I see the first dancing there that is a welcome dance for you. And at the second one there is a competition. So we show you who’s strong we and I see exercise for us. And if if we have any wedding ceremon or any special thing to celebrate, we do something like this. So this like a very special day for you guys. So you’re so welcome guys. Thank you. Thank you. Very good. Soon you’re going to look like massage. You know what I mean? If you say musu mas as the region right now like us the white people we call them musungu. So if you say musu mas like a white massage. So now next guys uh we’re going to show you inside of the masai house and then after inside that will show the kindergarten school for young children and then going to see the handmade and then finally we’re going to show you how but all masai house are the same the same side the same structure. So if you fit one house it mean that it fits all houses but we have very small houses. So one house is not fit all of you. So I’m going to define small group because I have my brother they speak a very good English they’re going to show you inside asking many question take many photos all be together. [Music] Where are you from guys? United States. Okay. All together. Uh no, separate. Yeah. Oh, separate. Wow. So, we are going to visit one of them as a house. Okay. But all houses are the same the same size, the same structure and the same material is the house. Okay. So once we visit one house actually it means that we visit all houses because all are the same. Are you different families or all? Uh we are not in the same family. My family went somewhere else. Okay. But here you uh that guy over there that’s my dad and then mommy and sister went with the other brother. Okay. And you? Uh I’m from Japan. And then yeah you myself. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So, now we are going to enter inside to see how Masai live. Okay. Yeah. You’re all welcome. Okay. Okay. You may see there. So, uh actually this is a real Masai house. First of all, the Masai house have two main parts. One is a kitchen and the second one is the bedroom. So actually uh here is a kitchen. Okay, we burn the fire here for cooking, for light and for keeping warm during the cold time. But actually once we burn the fire here, the smoke occur inside. So what we do? We remove the smoke outside by using small ventilation like that one. Okay. And sometime we have another one but there. And this help to bring fresh air inside by the way. Mhm. And then the second way, the second part is the sleeping place which is here. And here is a bedroom. Yeah. The people who can sleep here are likely three sorry three two parents and one young kid. Okay. So uh we use cow leather or cow skin as a mattress. Yeah. So what we cook here we are almost use three basic food. Milk, meat and blood. blood. Yes. Okay. So, we actually uh having two ways of getting blood. First of all is to cut the vein of the cow. Then we get two or three liters of the blood. Apart from there, uh the second way is once we slaughter the cow or a goat, we get enough blood. Yeah. So after there maybe I give you a chance to ask some question and to have the question before we jump to the next program. So why blood? Actually it is part of the food by the way we use like food. Okay. Okay. Food uh milk, meat and blood. Basic food for the massage. Okay. Yeah. Interesting. Yeah. So can you fit like if if there are not parents in the house, could you fit like a lot of kids in there then instead? Okay. Yes. Actually young kids are sleeping here. Okay. And parents but the other kids above 4 years sleep in another house which is special for their children. Okay. The second uh next program is to see women handmade sanctuaries like necklaces, bracelet and other things. So what you do is to walk around and to buy something to to support the ladies. Okay. So uh if you see something good you can pick yourself then you buy it to support the community. Okay. Myself I’m there just to translate. Okay. But the women will share that money. Myself it’s what I benefit is once you’re satisfied with my explanation and the hospitality and you need to give something friendly you’ll do but not must even to buy you buy while you are interested and while you are happy. Okay. Yeah. So, you’re welcome. Thank you. Okay, now we And for example, if you buy one thing like this one, all women share the money. It’s because what you know, we know that you can’t afford to hold everything at the same time. But two or one thing will be a good support for everybody. So, welcome. Can you can you walk? If you see something good, pick yourself. Okay. Yeah, let’s keep walk this way. What is this? Yes. Hello. This is [Music] Campbo. So Yeah. This is my wife. My daughter E. [Music] Germo. [Music] [Music] [Music] Jambo. I feel like I don’t use my muscles like that. Y A B C D E I G H K [Music] I see you jumbo. [Music] Welcome to school. This is a kindergart school which means a preparation of young kids from 3 years to 5 years old before going to primary school. Is it your sister? Who said this one? Yes. We call this one we call [Music] I don’t know which name you use in water but in Masai name we call we call we call nema. Nema. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. Why are we playing football? And then [Music] something hard. [Music] Yes. Do you also use cow dung or doggy poop? Speech. Speech. Speech. [Music] [Music] All right. Every household does this in each of their based with this way of making fire. Even sometime one person can do it this way. Yeah. Yes. It is very easy for us because we are already. [Music] [Music] So this is how always we This is a hard we make a friction and we collect water by using a m what you observe here. Then we use dry grass, elephant pool or dy pool to burn the fire because it makes it very easy to be burn. Any question about fire? Thank you very much, guy. Thank you. Thank you so much. Heat. Heat. motherfight. Long flight. Really long. Long long flight. [Applause] You just tell me overbody. [Music] [Music] [Music] How are you? [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]
