Hello everyone, this is Ken! Today I’m traveling to Odawara! First, lunch! The Station Cafe. This cafe occupies a station building that opened during the Taisho era . The original station building and train fixtures remain intact. The modern interior evokes a sense of nostalgia and relaxation. The luxurious Miura Red Egg and Ashigara Beef Hamburger (1,980 yen) was incredibly delicious! Minaka Odawara . Minaka Odawara is a commercial complex with over 40 restaurants and other businesses. Kinjiro Square is lined with buildings brimming with Edo-era charm. Sanbon Coffee Shop Drip Coffee (432 yen) – Take a break with a delicious coffee! We head to our next destination, Odawara Castle. We walk along the beautiful moat, surrounded by abundant nature. We’ve arrived at Odawara Castle! On the way to the castle tower, you’ll see historic buildings like Sumiyoshi Bridge and the Steel Gate. Odawara Castle Tower. We enter the castle tower. Inside, there are many exhibits related to Odawara Castle. There’s also a quiz about Odawara Castle, allowing you to expand your knowledge. The observation deck offers a panoramic view of Odawara city and the ocean! What a spectacular view! Tokiwagimon Samurai Museum: This museum features exhibits specializing in armor, swords, and other weapons. The armor is impressive. Hotoku Ninomiya Shrine : This shrine has a long history, dating back over 100 years. The natural surroundings are refreshing! Cafe Kaigan-dori : Relax in the retro, calm interior. Cheesecake Set (500 yen) : Miyuki Beach. The tunnel leading to the ocean. Passing through the tunnel reveals a breathtaking view that feels like another world! The ocean is always soothing. Araku Lighthouse : The sunset and the ocean are a perfect combination! We returned to Minaka Odawara. The festival-like atmosphere at night offers a different experience than during the day. Sosaku Rencho Kagosei (Minaka Odawara Branch) : Odawara is famous for its kamaboko (fish cake). Cheese Ball (400 yen): It was packed with cheese and was delicious! The calm atmosphere at night makes it a very pleasant place to spend time. On the top floor of Minaka there is an observation deck with a night view!
