Good morning ! It’s the fourth day of my trip to Kochi. After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, I’m off to my final day of sightseeing! I’ve arrived at Godaisan Park! Located near the summit of Mount Godai (146m) in the southeastern part of Kochi City, it offers a panoramic view of downtown Kochi and Urado Bay . Wow, what a view! The park is filled with a variety of flowers, offering great views and beautiful plants, making it a fun place to stroll around! If you’re visiting Godaisan Park, I recommend stopping by Chikurinji Temple. The approach to the temple, which stretches straight from the main gate, is incredibly beautiful and impressive. It is the 31st temple on the Shikoku Pilgrimage Route and one of Tosa’s most iconic temples. The temple grounds feature a 31-meter-tall five-story pagoda, whose vermilion color blends beautifully with the surrounding scenery . Chikurinji Temple is beautiful in all seasons, but it ‘s especially beautiful in autumn, making it a popular spot for viewing the autumn leaves . Not only are the main hall and five-story pagoda stunning, but the gardens are also magnificent , making it one of the “Three Great Gardens of Tosa.” I’m glad I visited! Well, our fun trip to Kochi is almost coming to an end. Let ‘s have lunch and wrap up the trip! Finally, let’s have some bonito one more time! It’s delicious no matter how many times I eat it! This will be the last time I eat bonito, which I ate every day during the trip. Hmm, I still have some time before my flight back, so I’d like to eat something more… Oh, I found a delicious-looking ramen shop! It’s Tai Shio Ramen (Taimeshi set)! It’s light, but the broth from the sea bream really comes through and it’s delicious! It was the perfect ramen to end the night! Whew, my trip to Kochi was so much fun… The scenery was beautiful, the food was delicious, and it was a very satisfying trip! I’d love to come back! This concludes our 3-night, 4-day trip to Kochi.
