We’ve arrived at the “Daio Wasabi Farm.” Let’s get started— I wonder what it tastes like. At first… It’s just like… Soft serve ice cream Like milk-flavored soft serve. but… The aftertaste has a hint of wasabi. It’s not that strong though. It’s good. It’s actually pretty good. Is it easy to eat? Yeah Everything has black shades over it, but if you look underneath, the water is super clear. It’s crystal clear. It’s amazing that they grow in such clean water. These wasabi plants. They’re really making the most of the land here. Same with soba, you know. It’s so beautiful, so clear… Inside here— I kind of want to curl up in it. I want to let the current take me… Are you trying to become wasabi? I want to become wasabi… Looks so refreshing… As we were walking— They say it’s snowmelt from the Northern Alps. Don’t you want to try drinking it? I do! This water is one of Japan’s top 100 famous waters. So you can actually drink the spring water here. All the way to the top. It’s delicious water. So this is what snowmelt water tastes like. It’s ice cold. There’s no aftertaste or anything… Because it’s water… It really tastes like good water. Got it! It’s so beautiful. beautiful! You can see it really well from here. This is the opposite side from where we were earlier. Wasabi grows buried in the ground, right? I guess it feels like it’s soaking in the water. To be able to soak in such clear water all the time… That’s happiness… It must feel so good! I think it would feel amazing. It’s like, “whoosh!” all the way over there, and it just keeps going. That’s a huge amount of water… Didn’t they say it’s the biggest (in area) in Japan? “Daio Wasabi Farm” is Japan’s largest wasabi farm, boasting 15 hectares in size and 90 tons of annual harvest. From May to early October, black nets are used to keep the temperature stable by blocking the heat. We’ve been able to go to beautiful places nonstop. There’s so much greenery here in Nagano. Tomorrow is going to be another day full of amazing views. Tomorrow is the one… We’ve been waiting for this! We’ve waited a whole year. A year ago, we thought, “We want to go!” We’ve always wanted to visit “Kamikochi.” Now, let’s cross the “Yume no Kakehashi” and head back. What a cool way to end the day…

長野県安曇野市にある“大王わさび農場”へ行ってきました！入場無料なのに見どころ満載でびっくり！名水百選の雪解け水や、わさびソフトも恐る恐る食べてみました…！
今回は閉店間際でショップやレストランには行けなかったけど、黒澤明監督の映画で使われた水車小屋も見れて大満足でした！
