Does the dept of transportation "bump" rules also include bumped from flights going to/flying out of one airport to changing the itinerary to flying in/out of a different airport? (I bought a flight in March. The airlines decided to not fly to that airport anymore. They bumped me to another flight going into another airport that is far away from my original destination. They have no flights now going to or leaving from my destination). I have to now buy a ticket with a whole different airlines and since the flight was scheduled for 3 weeks from now and is triple the price.)

We bought first class tickets on American Airlines for our elderly parents and they had a connecting flight but it was delayed a day anen they where put in the main cabin. What can we do because I filed a claim and just received a response for a 125 credit.😡😡
Was delayed 24 hours, purchased AIG insurance when I purchased tickets. Denied refund, stated delays are not covered, well I want my insurance money back. Why offer insurance that does not cover delays. We lost 500 due to this delay, plus 100 insurance cost. Is there anything we can do?

What if I was in Iceland and my flight was cancelled and rescheduled for over 24 hours but my original airfare was purchased through miles? Can I still get compensated?
So nothing came from this new rule. The whole purpose was to help with delays which is about 75% of the time, and cancellations. Some of these delays are back to back…next thing you know it’s 3 hrs later. This is what we are having issues with.
