【関西•穴場】大阪から２時間！神秘的な「夏の絶景」スポット４選 / 夏の穴場ドライブはココ

Hello, this is rootrip. This time, we will visit mysterious scenic spots that can be reached from Osaka in 1 to 2 hours each. This is the driving route. About 150 km from Osaka, one-way driving time: 2 hours and 50 minutes. We left Osaka at 5:30 to arrive at the sunken torii gate of Benten Pond at 10:00. Nabekura Valley is about 450 meters above sea level. There is a black rock about 25 meters wide and 650 meters long. This black rock is called hornblende gabbro. It is a very rare sight both topographically and geologically. Groundwater flows under this rock. The faint sound of the stream and the voices of wild birds are soothing. There is an interesting spot near Nabekura Valley. It is about 500 meters before. A Jizo statue standing quietly along the road in the deep mountains. There is a huge cedar tree in front of the shrine. It is somehow amazing. It is Shiose Jizo. The Jizo statue is from the Kamakura period. There is a Buddha on a stone 160cm high. I didn’t know such a stone Buddha existed. It is worshipped as a pilgrimage to Ise and as a god of eyes. It is less than an hour by car to the next spot. Keimei Falls is a collective name for eight waterfalls on the Kamiari River in Shigaraki Town. To the parking lot, you drive on a narrow road where it is difficult to pass other cars. It takes about 4 minutes from the parking lot to the largest waterfall. As you would expect in Shigaraki, there are a few raccoons here and there. Shigaraki ware with raccoon dogs is famous. This is my first time at this waterfall. Access from the parking lot is good. The waterfall is more impressive than I imagined. Is it about 5m in diameter? Keimei Falls has a drop of 13m. It is impressive. There is a small shrine at the top of the waterfall. It is about 30 minutes to the next destination. I have been here before, so this is my second visit. Last time, I could only see the view from afar. This time, I went to the foot of the cedars. I went through the cedar forest. There was a single, special old tree standing there. It’s a magnificent sight from the lake surface, but it’s also amazing to see it from behind. The view of the pond from Ipponsugi is also wonderful. Ipponsugi is also beautiful in the deep green of summer. It’s about 30 minutes to the final destination. In the morning around June or late July, water lilies bloom in Benten Pond. The best time to go is around 10 o’clock. And there is a torii gate in the center of the pond. It’s a very mysterious sight. This pond was once dug for farmers suffering from drought, and the torii gate was part of the approach to the shrine dedicated to Benzaiten in the center of the pond. What is that round structure? It stands behind the torii gate. It ‘s very mysterious and mystical. Around Benten Pond are Hachiman Shrine and Oike Temple. It was a very beautiful view.
