今回も新潟県の中越地方の道路ですね。こちらの県道も行ったことが無いですが、一部は国道116号から北陸自動車道の西山ICへのアクセス道路になっているみたいですね(このICは乗り降りしたことがありません)。
一応ほぼ２車線で走りやすそうな道路ではありますが、途中で交差点を何ヶ所か曲がっているので、全区間通しで利用することはあまり無いと思います。ただ、交差している国道同士を繋ぐアクセス路としては便利そうですね。また、国道404号から長岡側は一部やや狭くなっていますが、そこまで走りにくそうな感じではなさそうですね。
