行列店出身のこだわりの餃子が美味しかった、、、大阪豊中の町中華|Gyoza in Osaka, Japan.

Hello. Today I am in Toyonaka, Osaka. The restaurant we will visit today is about a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Toyonaka Station. There is a restaurant facing National Route 176. This is the “Gyoza no Katsu” that we will be visiting this time. This Chinese restaurant specializes in gyoza and has about 4 branches in Osaka. This is the main store in Toyonaka. The restaurant has a casual and relaxing atmosphere similar to an izakaya. This restaurant has a second floor with a total of 45 seats. The food menu is centered around the famous dumplings, but also includes regular Chinese dishes and izakaya-style foods such as potato salad. This is a menu of a la carte dishes that would go well with alcohol. There are also French fries and mapo tofu. At lunchtime, we also offer set meals that include rice and soup. Now, regarding gyoza, there are about 5 types available. Among them, I think the “black gyoza”, which uses a lot of garlic, and the “white gyoza”, which uses a lot of ginger, are particularly popular. Speaking of gyoza, beer goes best with it. I ordered a draft beer right away. First, I ordered “black gyoza” made with plenty of garlic from Aomori Prefecture. 5 pieces per person costs 380 yen. Crisp and aromatic gyoza are eaten by dipping them in a sauce that is a mixture of soy sauce and vinegar. Gyoza are bite-sized and easy to eat. Yes, this is delicious! The ingredients inside the dumplings include minced pork, vegetables, and garlic. They are mixed in an exquisite balance. Each ingredient is delicious together. It seems like they use good quality garlic and the scent is great. Next, I ordered “white gyoza” which uses plenty of Tosa ginger. 380 yen for 5 pieces per person. This is for two people. Special salt and sauce were prepared separately for the white dumplings. I can feel the commitment of this restaurant. First, we will add special salt. Yes, this is delicious too! Just like the previous “black gyoza”, the combination of ingredients is excellent. You can really feel the refreshing scent of Tosa ginger and it’s delicious. Needless to say, the texture of the crispy skin is also good. It was a gyoza that I could eat forever, but around this time I also ordered fried chicken. That’s 727 yen. The batter for this fried dish is mainly made from potato starch, giving it a crunchy texture. The chicken thighs are well seasoned, and the seasoning is just right and delicious. At a Chinese restaurant, the last thing I want to eat is fried rice. So, finally, I ordered fried rice (850 yen). The normal fried rice also contained shrimp. This is also delicious. And the seasoning is also good. In fact, the owner of this restaurant trained for many years at a Chinese restaurant near Itami Airport that serves delicious dumplings and has a long line of people. It was a gyoza with a high degree of perfection that made me think, “I see.” Thank you for the meal!
