【ザ・ゲートホテル横浜 by HULIC】2025年2月新規開業！山下公園や横浜中華街にもアクセスしやすい新しいホテル 横浜 / ホテル紹介 / ホテル宿泊記

Thank you for watching. This is Yusuke’s Travel! This time we will be traveling on the Tokyu Toyoko Line! This channel will introduce hotels with good value for money and slightly luxurious hotels. If you like domestic travel and hotel stays, please subscribe to our channel! Connect to the Minatomirai Line and arrive at the last stop, Motomachi-Chukagai Station. Let’s leave from Exit 1, Yamashita Park Exit. When we came out, it was still crowded even on a weekday. With the Chouyoumon Gate, whose guardian deity is said to be the Blue Dragon, behind us, we headed towards Yamashita Park. Hotel New Grand, where we stayed before. This is also a nice hotel, so if you’d like, please click the link in the description. Then we passed in front of the main building of Hotel New Grand… We will be visiting “The Gate Hotel Yokohama by HULIC”, which opened in February 2025. This is my first stay at the Gate Hotel! It has a good reputation, so I’m really looking forward to it! Let’s go inside and follow the signs to the 12th floor. It seems that the reception of this hotel is on the top floor. We arrived on the 12th floor…! There is art of the Hikawa Maru moored at Yamashita Park on display! Let’s check in! Check-in procedure. The staff member gave us a detailed explanation. He also explained that we should hold the card key over the room to go to the guest room floor. We received everything! Another staff member called the elevator for us, which was a nice consideration! Our room this time was on the second floor. The elevator hall on the second floor. Horseshoes were decorated. The floor signs were stylishly lit up. The hallway on the guest room floor was also very stylish with a nice lighting. Room 213, which was assigned to us this time, is a Modest room. Hold the card key over the door and open it! Put the card key in your pocket and start the room tour! We entered the room. There is only a pocket for the card key. The location of our room and the evacuation route are here. The DD card is on the doorknob. Now, let’s go inside the room! I was looking forward to staying in this room…! This is the Modest, 18m2 room. A Modest-like room, which means modest. I wonder what the view from this room is like? You can see it through the curtains, but check it out! It’s a view of the main building of Hotel New Grand. In that direction, Yamashita Park is… barely visible… This is what the room looks like from the window. Is this Yokohama? Check out this cabinet next to the desk. Above the headboard, there is a light switch and two power outlets. Tissues and a room phone. Inside the cabinet, there is some paper and a safety deposit box. This was a file. Inside, there is a laundry service and delivery slip. This desk is actually a Herman Miller passport work table! The unique feature of this desk is that it is height adjustable. You can use it while standing! And this is also a Herman Miller Zeff chair. This was the set I was looking for! It was so comfortable to sit on…! Let’s take a look at this, which I received when I checked in. The card key holder. I like the simple design. The card key is similarly simple. Breakfast voucher. You can have breakfast at either the restaurant on the first floor or the bar & lounge on the 12th floor. The skin care set was from Mikimoto’s Moon Pearl series. Information on the hotel, breakfast, and Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi connection speed is fast, with a download speed of 223Mbps and an upload speed of 287Mbps. If you present your key case, you can get a 5% discount at “S.Weil by HOTEL NEW GRAND,” which was also introduced in the Hotel New Grand video! Nice collaboration! We also received a survey on our stay. This is the Modesto bed. It is 130cm wide, so you can lie down comfortably. The cushion material has a TV on the front, so it can be used as a backrest when you sit back and watch TV in bed! The nightwear is a separate type. The Gate Hotel logo is embroidered on the chest. There are two types of pillows. The cushion colors are uniform. This reading light is a type that can be adjusted in direction and angle. There is a lighting control switch, a USB Type-C port for charging, and a power outlet. The usual bed check. Next comes the sheets and bed pad… The mattress is a Simmons Beautyrest. A good night’s sleep is guaranteed! Next, we check the other side of the bed. At the foot of the window, there is a Sharp humidifier and air purifier. When I tried to fill it with water, there was already water in it. It was pollen season, so I quickly turned it on. This is a mini fridge. This is one of the few drawbacks of the Modesto. Because of its size, be careful what you put in it. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a Nespresso machine in a hotel! It was an Essenza Mini. There were two types of portions: Tokyo Lungo and Stockholm Lungo. Free mineral water. This cabinet. There are various things on the top drawer. Spoons and coasters. For tea, Twinings Ceylon Orange Pekoe and Earl Grey. Type-C charging cable. It’s PD compatible. Writing utensils are also here. On the middle shelf are mugs and glasses. An ice bucket and a Siroca electric kettle. A trash can. Put plastic bottles in a separate bag. When I turned on the TV, the hotel menu was displayed. Of course, it is also compatible with smart TVs! I moved my gaze from the entrance to this place… There was a full-length mirror on the wall. There was a baggage rack at my feet. The hanger hooks are also stylish. Inside this door… It was a closet. There were enough hangers for one person. Disposable slippers. Shoe horn, shoe shine cloth, brush. Shimizu-ka disinfectant deodorizing spray. There was also a Panasonic clothes steamer. I’ve never been able to get rid of wrinkles with this… Finally, let’s take a look at this. There’s a robe hook here. Door, open! The sanitary space was simply put together. On the left was the bathroom. It was quite distinctive that the remote control was placed at an adult’s line of sight. The washlet was made by TOTO. In front was the wash area. The large round mirror was distinctive. Cups. The faucet was made by Hansgrohe. Face and hand soap. This is the amenity box. Everything is there. It’s rare to find hand and body cream! Face towel. Maybe this will open? I couldn’t find a hair dryer. It seems to be made by SALONIA… The Modesto room was a shower booth. This is enough for one person. There was also a rain shower. The shower head has a water flow switch. There were three types of water flow in total. The strong water pressure is also a good impression. The Gate Hotel’s original Darjeeling tea bath amenities. I’ll introduce other rooms. This is the easy-to-use essential. The Classy has a slightly luxurious atmosphere. The Luxe is a corner room. I’d like to stay here next time! The Gate is a suite room. That’s all for the room tour. I’ll introduce the meal I had for lunch. I took a leisurely walk from the hotel to the Motomachi area. This is Yokohama Motomachi Honmarutei, one of the Kanagawa light ramen shops. There was a menu outside. The ramen is salt only! Apparently they also sell the shredded chicken used in the ramen soup as dog food. On certain days of the week, they also sell oyaki as Oyaki Honmarutei! I went inside the store, ordered, and waited leisurely. The shop has about 12 seats at the counter. It’s near Motomachi Shopping Street, so it’s a little far from the hotel. The food arrived. I ordered Honmaru Shio Ramen! It might be unusual to have chrysanthemum in it. I see, it seems like it’s good to soak the chrysanthemum in the soup! So, let’s soak it nicely. The soup is clear because it’s a light type of ramen! The noodles are thick and curly. There’s also pork slices and wontons. It’s very filling! When I was paying, I noticed… There’s a signature of the person I usually see, Shiyago Channel! Before eating the ramen, I stopped by UNI COFFEE ROASTERY. I saw it while I was walking around. Apparently they also sell donuts. I ordered a drink, so I decided to wait inside. The lady selling donuts in front of the store made my coffee, so she wrote an illustration and a comment! The illustration looked like the person! From here, I’ll introduce the facilities and equipment in the hotel. The reception on the 12th floor, which I introduced when I checked in. There is art of the Hikawa Maru in the elevator hall. There is also a foreign currency exchange machine. You can also wait leisurely in front of the reception. The bar and lounge, which is also one of the breakfast venues. You can have a leisurely chat at the counter, or sit by the window and enjoy the beautiful night view. I’d like to spend some adult time at a hotel bar someday. Now, let’s head to the rooftop, which is only available to hotel guests! We’ve arrived at the rooftop floor! When you get off the elevator, go to the left and head straight to the terrace! This is the rooftop terrace! You can see Yokohama, Minato Mirai, Kawasaki, and Tokyo Tower. With Tokyo Bay right in front of you, the Yokohama Bay Bridge also stretches across the sea. The Yokohama Marine Tower, which is nearby, is also perfect! Minato Mirai at dusk is also beautiful. Now, we went back inside the hotel and came to the vending machine corner on the 4th and 11th floors. Please note that only cash is accepted. The ice machine was free to use. The objects in the elevator hall were different on each floor, so I’ll introduce them all at once. From the 11th floor to the 3rd floor in order. It’s fun to look for these differences. For me, the horseshoe on the 2nd floor is the best. Well, it’s still a little light outside, but I went to pick up the dinner I ordered by phone. It’s a burger house called “Cody’s”. I always end up eating ramen or a hamburger… There’s a takeout window in front. I recommend ordering by phone in advance. There’s also a menu at the window. It’s almost a straight line from the hotel, so it’s surprisingly easy to walk. I returned to the hotel. Let’s eat! What are DCB and CKB…? This is a double cheeseburger with bacon topping. It also comes with fries. And this is a Cajun chicken burger. It’s not enough for one person! I also ordered a piece of fried chicken. I’ll also introduce the products of UNI COFFEE ROASTERY! Here is the donut with a smile saying “Enjoy yourself”. The drink is a white mocha latte. The strawberry is cute. And custard. At the end of the day, the rooftop terrace at night. The image quality is inevitably poor when it comes to smartphone images, but I personally think that the night view of Minato Mirai is the best. I’d like to go for a drive to the Bay Bridge…! Yokohama Marine Tower was also beautifully lit up. Now, let’s relax in our room. Good night. Good morning! Morning has come! There are two breakfast options, but this time we decided to have breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor. This is the hotel’s restaurant, Anchor Grill Yokohama. Almost all of the outside facing areas are windows. Give your breakfast ticket to the staff at the entrance. They will guide you to your seat. I arrived around 7:00, but since it was a weekday, I was the only one there. For breakfast at this restaurant, you can choose one of three main plates. They explained it to me carefully. There are plenty of seats. The half-buffet meals are lined up on the counter you can see over there. Let’s go and have a look! Let’s look from this side of the counter. Cutlery and wet tissues. There is a wide variety of salads. Broccoli, paprika, and mizuna. Radicchio, vitamin radish, red radish. Red mizuna, red cherry tomatoes and yellow cherry tomatoes. Mixed beans and cucumber. Today’s Yokohama vegetable is pumpkin. And Beni Haruka and cauliflower. Here are today’s Yokohama vegetables. And snap peas and white turnip. There are three types of dressing. The sesame dressing was very delicious! Green leaf lettuce. There are also various salads here. There are quite a few, so if you see something that catches your eye, please pause and check it out. There are also delicious-looking fruits lined up. Ocean berries, organic kiwi, and Unshu mandarin oranges. Bread corner. Even if the main course is not enough, it’s nice to have bread. Balmuda toaster. Orange spread. Echire butter. There was also honeycomb. Sausage, whole grain mustard, ketchup. Today’s soup. Fresh orange juice. Mineral water. Sparkling water. Milk, green smoothie, vinegar drink, jasmine tea. When I returned to my seat, the main plate was brought to me. Coffee was also brewed, and all the dishes were ready! I ate the salad as well. It was fresh and delicious! Yokohama rice curry, which is only available at The Gate Hotel Yokohama. The meat was tender and the spices were good, so it was very delicious!
