【湘南ライフ】話題のThe OUTLETS湘南平塚でショッピング！　ツインシティ構想もご紹介♪

Shopping at the much talked about The OUTLETS Shonan Hiratsuka! Kanagawa Prefecture has plans to create a twin city between Hiratsuka City and Samukawa Town. The plan is to connect the two cities with a bridge and build a new Shinkansen station. The OUTLETS Shonan Hiratsuka opened in this twin city in April 2023. Today I would like to take a stroll around The OUTLETS Shonan Hiratsuka. Park your car in the parking lot and head to the entrance. I feel like I’ve gone on a little trip abroad. It feels open and liberating. It wasn’t a special sale season that day, but there were still 50% off outlet prices. Next, I was interested in sauna shops. This is a store that sells home saunas. I was impressed that for just 1 million yen you could build a sauna in your own home, but I didn’t say anything to the salesperson. Next is the car garage shop. Toyota’s first generation Crown was on display. The first-generation Toyota Crown was released 70 years ago in 1955. At that time, Japan was in the process of reconstruction after the Second World War and was in a very poor period. In the midst of this, Toyota developed a completely domestically produced Japanese car. A must-see for car enthusiasts. The OUTLETS Shonan Hiratsuka also has a spacious green space. Designer brand COACH Take the escalator to the 2nd floor. On the second floor there are sports shops such as Puma, Nike, and FILA. Next to the sports shop is a bedding store. I’m really interested in custom-made pillows. The store clerk says, “We will measure your head and shoulders properly and create a pillow just for you.” I almost ended up buying it on impulse. We decided to go to Ippudo for lunch. Today we introduced The OUTLETS Shonan Hiratsuka.
