Fukuoka Airport → New Chitose Airport 7:50-10:05 We’ve arrived in Hokkaido! It’s already snowing. New Chitose Airport! I really feel like I’ve arrived in Hokkaido I rush off to Sapporo Station on the Rapid Airport train The fastest time from New Chitose to Sapporo is 37 minutes This is Sapporo Station. The atmosphere is great The scale of the station is amazing… First, I leave my luggage at the hotel and head to Triton The weather forecast was for snow, but this is the weather There is still quite a bit of snow left I walk on the snowy road for about 30 minutes… I can finally see Triton When I think of Hokkaido, I think of seafood, so I’m looking forward to it Exciting Huh? …It seems like it was just a dream. We’ve already started sightseeing in Sapporo. It wasn’t as cold as we thought it would be because there was a plastic sheet inside. We ‘ll be aiming for smelt through this small hole. We were given a lecture on how to fish beforehand. First, let the line drop all the way to the bottom. Once it hits the bottom , reel the line in a few centimeters. Then move the bait up and down a few times and wait about 5 seconds. Repeat this process. We didn’t catch anything for the first few minutes, but… The people around us were starting to get bites here and there. And finally, Sea Urchin got a bite…!! Naho-kun finally got a bite. The two of us caught nine fish. The smelt we caught were fried as is. They were delicious with just salt. After smelt fishing, we went to the Sapporo Clock Tower. We stopped by the Hokkaido Prefectural Government Office on the way. This is the famous Sapporo Clock Tower . We wanted to see it when we came to Hokkaido. It is surrounded by office buildings. We didn’t expect it to be facing the road so much. Sapporo TV Tower. Seafood bowl at Nijo Market. Uni-san was happy to be able to eat sea urchin. After filling our stomachs, we went to Shiroi Koibito Park. We were expecting to tour the factory, but… The interior was also very beautiful. These are the dwarves who make Shiroi Koibito. There was a real factory tour part, which was fun The invisible man played the piano It was a small choir At the end, we went outside through the revolving door I thought that was the end, but the outside was also fascinating If only it was a little darker with the illuminations… The soap bubbles were beautiful Bye-bye, Shiroi Koibito Today’s last meal was a soup curry restaurant at 43° north latitude It was voluminous, not too spicy, and very delicious End of day 2 Good night 💤
