Hello, this is Tabibubu Today, I’m at Dogo Onsen, a popular tourist spot in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture Following on from our last Ehime gourmet video, we bring you a review of the hot spring inns at Dogo Onsen “Dogo Onsen Eating Tour” Please check out the video for “Ki” (*´ω｀*) There is a shuttle bus that runs between “Dogo Onsen Station” and the inn, so we took the bus to the inn Shuttle bus timetable (please check the stop screen) We arrived at the hotel in about 3 minutes! Tonight’s hotel is “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Dogo” This hotel was rebranded from “Yukai Resort Dogo Saichoraku” The lobby looks like this “Mikyan” is working hard cleaning…!! (´・ω・`) There are also lockers where you can store your luggage 😳 Yukata corner Souvenir corner Game corner This time it seems to be a room on the 3rd floor This is room 319 Open! First of all, there are slippers for use inside the building… It’s a compact room with two single beds It’s not big, but it’s enough for two people 😀 The price was ¥19,890 for an “Economy Twin Room (no bath)” for two adults, one night with two meals included The view from the window looks like this! You can see a little bit of the pool You can see beautiful autumn leaves in the distance The fridge was empty Cups, teacups, tea There’s a haori coat in the closet And the security box Next, let’s look at the bathroom. Let’s go. The toilet has a washlet. Now that the room tour is over, let’s take a look at the facilities inside the building. First, the manga corner. Computer corner. Massage chair (fee required). Reservations are required for the table tennis corner. The system involves choosing a time slot and writing down your room number. (Free) Next, we went to the karaoke corner in the back This is what the room looks like! Just like table tennis, you choose a time slot, enter your room number, and your reservation is complete (free) And finally, the large hot spring bath The spring quality is “hypotonic alkaline cold mineral spring,” and the open-air bath with a view of the night view and starry sky was a soothing space✨ Now it’s time for dinner. I arrived just before the opening, but there was already a line…💦 The venue is spacious like this. I put down a sign saying “eating” and secured a seat, and took a look at the buffet table! My favorite “sweet shrimp” There was also “tuna” Live kitchen corner Tempura (green peppers, shrimp, sweet potatoes, inari sushi) I was curious about the rare “Inari sushi tempura”…😮 Steak corner It took a while to get it served, and there was a line (´；ω；｀) They also had the famous “Taimeshi” All-you-can-drink alcohol corner (charged) Prices here The presentation is like this I’m happy to be able to eat sweet shrimp too (*´ω｀*) “Yawatahama Chanpon” looks delicious with lots of ingredients… And the highlight of the dinner buffet is the steak. We also had a variety of desserts. Now let’s introduce the most delicious dishes! First up is the steak 🥩 Perhaps because it’s processed meat, it’s very soft and easy to eat! The sauce is not too strong and tastes good It goes well with mashed potatoes 😚 However, it takes a long time for the steaks to be served at the live kitchen, and there is always a line, It was a shame that we had to wait more than 10 minutes ⋯🥲 The tuna was very fresh and delicious ♪ “Yawatahama Champon” is really full of ingredients! The noodles are chewy and the soup has a light, gentle taste And “Pizza” Lots of cheese and a rich, authentic taste! There’s also honey, so you’ll have to pour it on (´∇｀) “Hakata Motsunabe” The motsu was very plump and there was a lot of it “Taimeshi” – Ehime’s signature dish The sea bream is large and delicious “Singapore-style Gai Tot” “Gai Tot” means “fried chicken” in Thai The slightly sour sauce is addictive 😆 “Inari sushi tempura”. I wonder if it’s a specialty of Ehime? I thought it was a strange dish, but it didn’t feel strange at all and was delicious♪ The “soft serve ice cream” was quite rich The “apple pie” had a soft apple flavor and a refined taste with a hint of cinnamon🍎 And that’s it! Thank you for the meal. After dinner, I wandered around Dogo Onsen Station, and spent some time relaxing in the large baths…☺️ Good morning I’m glad the weather was nice today☀️ Now, let’s head to the breakfast area. Now, let’s take a look at the buffet table! Breakfast at the live kitchen is “Wasanbon French toast” Oedo Onsen Monogatari’s specialty “Nokke Donburi” corner Tuna, squid, negitoro Mentaiko, crab sticks, scallops Other dishes include minced chicken, grated yam, and kimchi Tai dashi chazuke corner Drink corner Soft serve ice cream (I’m glad I can eat it in the morning) The presentation is like this “Tai dashi chazuke” And the luxurious seafood “Nokke donburi”! “Wasanbon French Toast” from the live kitchen Here are some delicious breakfasts! “Nokke-don” is a must-have It’s so luxurious to be able to eat as much tuna and scallops as you want, which are my favorite foods…🥲 I’ll definitely be ordering a second serving! And this “Menchikatsu” Very crispy♪ Seasoned well and delicious The filling of the “Tai Dashi Chazuke” was chicken, not sea bream The gentle flavor of the dashi is just right for breakfast (*´▽`*) “Wasanbon French Toast” “Wasanbon French Toast” It took a while to be served, just like the steak at night, but it was fluffy and delicious♪ “Croissant” The butter flavor was surprisingly strong and rich, and the quality was high! I ate it all! Thank you for the meal. I’ve checked out, so my hotel stay is over. I’ll take the shuttle bus back to Dogo Onsen Station. I’ve arrived at Dogo Onsen Station! I was a little disappointed with the speed of the food served at the live kitchen, but the overall quality of the food was high and the hot springs were great, so I was very satisfied!
