There is a good soba restaurant in the town of Iizuna.

The soba restaurant is located in the Iizuna Ski Resort Rest House. When I came here this winter, I revisited because the soba had a great aroma and the soba was great to slurp up. It is firm and long because it uses the Oyama-bokuchi of the thistle family for its binder.

The Mure skunk cabbage garden is located next to it. Although somewhat late for a visit, the skunk cabbages at the back of the park were just at their best. The nearby Togakushi Nature Park is more famous for skunk cabbages, but there are fewer tourists here and it can be enjoyed in peace and quiet.

    八方美人のオヤマボクチ蕎麦、美味しいですよね。また食べに行きたくなりました。
    水芭蕉はだいぶ葉っぱが大きくなってしまいまたね。全体を見るにはあれですが個々の花として見るには好きです。5月の清々しさが気持ちよさそうです。

    むれは、牟礼村の水芭蕉って所になるのでしょうか、全体的にちょっと水芭蕉の白い花より葉が大きく、水芭蕉郡全体を捉えた時、白い花が大きな葉に隠れてしまい、撮影時期はもう1,2週間早い方が花びらが一望出来たかもねー。。水のせせらぎ音が春の日差しに心地よいです　水芭蕉アップの写真白い花びらが印象的
    十割そばの八方味人は美味そうですね、そばの量は2倍ほしいかな
