Kobo-Yu is a geyser, and it spouts out and stops even while you are taking a bath I came to Hunter Mountain to see the autumn leaves We took a gondola trip to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 1,643m while admiring the autumn leaves The sea of ​​clouds was spreading “Shiobara Shio-no-yu Onsen Myogaya Honkan” This ryokan is located along a valley and is famous for its spectacular open-air bath by the riverside To reach the open-air bath, you need to descend 88 steps all the way to the bottom of the valley Please take a look at the 88-step mini hiking trail There is a chair for taking a break about halfway Arrived It was good exercise Breakfast Before checking out, I went to the open-air bath again It’s so relaxing

【湯ノ花温泉】
「湯ノ花温泉」は、南会津に位置する約700年の歴史がある温泉地です。
お湯は無色透明でほぼ無味無臭ですが、ややツルスベ感を感じます。

湯ノ花温泉は静けさと鄙びた共同浴場の雰囲気が素晴らしいです。特に石湯のロケーションは大好きで、温泉地の真ん中を流れる湯ノ岐川のすぐ傍にあり、渓流を感じながらゆったり入浴できます。
他の旅行者の気配を感じずに温泉に入りたい人には絶好の穴場ではないでしょうか。

【奥塩原新湯（あらゆ）温泉】
「新湯温泉」は、江戸時代（1659年）の地震による山崩れによって塩原元湯温泉が埋まってしまい、移住した元湯の住人が噴火口に湧く温泉を利用して新しく開いた温泉と言われています（「元湯」に対して新しい「新湯」と名付けられた）。
源泉はタマゴ臭のする白濁の硫黄泉です。
新湯温泉には「寺の湯」「中の湯」2つの共同浴場があり（以前は「むじなの湯」があったのですが、天災によってお湯の温度が下がってしまい、利用中止になっているみたいです）、今回は中の湯に入浴しました。

【塩原元湯温泉 ゑびすや】
「元湯温泉」は平安時代（806年）に発見された塩原最古の温泉です。江戸時代に一度、地震によって人がいなくなりますが、明治時代（1884年）に3軒の旅館がこの地で営業を始め、現在に至っています。
「ゑびすや」は、「梶原の湯」「弘法の湯」の2つの源泉を持っています。どちらも白濁の硫黄泉です。弘法の湯は間欠泉で、入浴していると吹き出したり止まったりして面白いです。弘法の湯は混浴浴室にしかないので女性の方は注意してください。また、この宿は自炊湯治も可能な栃木では貴重な宿です。

【塩原塩の湯温泉 明賀屋本館】
ここはなんといっても川岸露天風呂が素晴らしいです。88段の階段を渓谷の下まで降りていき、渓流を眼前に眺めながら入れる開放感のある露天風呂です。映画『不夜城』やドラマ『着飾る恋には理由があって』のロケ地にもなっています。
露天風呂では「刈子の湯」と2012年に発見された「明賀屋源泉」の2つの源泉が使われていました。刈子の湯は塩気のある湯で、黄土色に濁っています。明賀屋源泉は少し黒っぽい色をしている単純泉です。
