Kōka (also spelled “Koka”) is a historical and culturally rich region located in the southern part of Shiga Prefecture, Japan. It is most famously known as the home of Kōga-style ninja, and is now part of Kōka City, which was established in 2004 through the merger of several towns (Minakuchi, Tsuchiyama, Kōka, Kōnan, and Shigaraki).
